Messages?

Does the board software have a way of notifying you that you have a message when you first open the boards up?

I just noticed that I had a message from Saturday and up while I'll start paying more attention to the little indicator at the top this functionality would be nice.

Noone's EVER sent me a message, so I'm not entirely sure. I suspect not, beyond the notice in the upper right corner of the page.

Thanks for the message, Bogotter. I see, when I look in my message a "Preferences" link. On that page is a "Notify by e-mail" setting. You can set that and have YaBB send you notification via e-mail. I don't see any other settings. There might be mods out there that do this, tho, when we upgrade to SP2, the mods will be undone, so I'll wait until after the upgrade.
