I'm very ambivalent about this current strip. On the one hand, it does help redeem Celesto as a badass (maybe undoing about a third of the damage of the cat underpants). On the other, it's cementing the damage of TIM. That's a pity, as TIM was the first true reoccuring opponent in the strip (Siggy doesn't count as he wasn't a villain at the time). He was pretty scary and bloody in his first appearance, and he's gone downhill at every return.

Now TIM is Demonic Leela, yet he gets squelched by Celesto in an instant? I know it's a bit much to expect he really is down for the count, but there's a big part of me that's hoping TIM really did get KOed there so he doesn't get worse in the next reincarnation. However, I fully expect him to get a new demon head in the next strip. Maybe this time he'll look like Nibbler.

Well, he's still connected to hell and thus to his old master Karnak, the former Demon of Wounds. So he'll probably regenerate his head - and end up looking even more retarded.
