"If you don't sit down like a good boy, I'll shoot you full of holes. I don't want to waste Kir's work on you, but I will if it saves my life." He puts the lightsaber back on his belt while whipping out his Commando Special. It's already set to Autofire...

"Last time we met, you nearly killed me. This time, if you try to charge me, you will die. So simmer down, clanky, unless you want to be left as a scrap heap on Rhen Var... without either lightsaber."

"I am a droid. Kill me and one of my Masters will rebuild me. If I kill you, no one will rebuild you. And if I almost killed you before, you must have needed killing. If you don't want me to hurt you, you should give better reasons."

[Mando Knight]

"You're not a very intelligent droid, are you? If I destroy your body, I could easily destroy your memory core. If I do that, there's no coming back. Furthermore, we're out in space, parsecs from civilization. If we dumped your body out here, chances of your master finding you are slim to none."

Gavik stops... then remembers. "Besides, the only reason why you tried to kill us was that Frow tried to steal his ship,"--Gavik points to Kir--"this ship. Frow was trying to kill me to keep me from protecting my friend's property. Search your memory banks, you know it to be true."

While he's talking, he moves so that R45-CO doesn't have any way to move in a straight line towards him...

The droid's sheet is... incomplete. It doesn't have its talents or skills written out... and his ridiculous strength doesn't seem to have any justification other than that you seem to have given it both the 5th degree and the 4th degree stat modifications...

I only added 5th. No, there aren't any skills, because they wouldn't be applicable to the battle, but his Talents and Feats are all there. Anything weapon-specific applies to Lightsabers. If I fudged anything it was Lightsaber proficiency. The base stats are rolled in the OOC thread somewhere. Large size adds +8 Str, if you'll check Table 11-2, Droid Sizes.

"Frow is good. You all were bad people who were trying to kill Frow. But if you really are friends with Frow now, I guess you're good people now. But I won't believe it until Frow tells me it's true. You could be liars. Especially if you're still bad people."

[Mando Knight]

"Why is Frow good? He tried to steal my friend's ship, and tried to kill us with war droids without letting us have any of our weapons or armor. He was hiding inside the ship, while he sent you, who thinks that Frow is your best friend, to fight--and possibly die--for him. At least we had the honor to fight you face to face, drag your deactivated body onto this ship, and rebuild you."

Really, Frow didn't fight us at all, he was just a cowardly hut'uun who sat behind a computer and let mindless drones do the dirty work...

Wait... where's he getting that +8 level/armor bonus to his Reflex defense? You don't add non-heroic levels to defenses, and he doesn't have Improved Armored Defense... he should also have a -1 to his Reflex defense from his size...

"Frow told me he was good. He makes me think he's good," the droid squeaks.

Kir stayed Quite during the Exchange but had also drawn his Commando Special and held it at the ready finley Kir say, with Command in his voice, OK R45-CO but that will not be until we return to Duxn, until that time under Spacer Law as Captain of this ship you are reacquired to follow my orders, now shut your weapon down, you will follow my orders until we get back to Duxn or i well shut you down.

"But even Captains bow to Jedi like my Masters," Rasco replies confidently.

Then who are your masters?

[Ascension]

"Master Orpha and Master Frow, of course!" Rasco replies without delay.

[Mando Knight]

"Well, what if I told you I was good? After all, I'm friends with the guy who rebuilt you... and I even helped, too." (What else could he have done during those days of travel? Kir didn't need the Aid Another, but there's not much else to do on the ship...)
"What makes a good guy, anyway? Shining weapons and brown robes? Is it following your gut, even if the rest of the galaxy is against you? Is it honor?"

Who is Master Orpha?

[Ascension]

"Master Orpha is my maker. He tells me what is good, usually. Except he hasn't been around so much lately. But Frow told me he was good. He told me inside my brain, so I knew he was a good Jedi like my maker."

[Graybacca]

Kir busted out laughing for a minute but then Says to Rasco, I'm sorry about that, but Frow in not a Jedi he's a slicer and he messed with your programing to make you obey him.

[Ascension]

"If he's not a Jedi how did he open doors without touching them? How did he make people obey him? How did he convince me he was good? To do these things he would have to be a Jedi."

[Mando Knight]

"Heh. If that's all anyone needs to do to make themselves Jetiise, then I'm Revan!" Gavik laughs at the silly droid's naivete...

[Ascension]

"Are you?" Rasco asks sincerely, "I heard Master Orpha say he wears masks sometimes..."

[Mando Knight]

"No. I'm not Revan. Your friend Frow used computers to open doors, and he used bits of code to make you like him. I don't know how he convinced people to do what he wanted, but other droids could easily be reprogrammed. And if he ever killed anything with lightning, that was because the Republic's architects are stupid and put easily-overloaded exposed power conduits everywhere."

((If he was half the Mando'ad he claimed to be, he'd have fought on Republic warships before... and you know about their wiring problems!))

[Graybacca]

Rasco all Frow would need to make you believe things in you head would be to access you droid brain while you were shut down for a recharge and I'm guessing he used you as a pirate link into the Prisons Computer system while you were shut down.

[Ascension]

Rasco looks as crestfallen as a droid with no facial features to speak of can look.

"Are you sure he's not a Jedi...?"

[Mando Knight]

"Has he ever used a lightsaber or lifted anything without anything touching it?"

[Graybacca]

Yes, because i believe i could passably do it myself if you allow me to take a look i'll reverse what Frow did to you if you want me to.

[Ascension]

Rasco catches on to Kir's train of thought... sort of.

"Right! You definitely aren't a Jedi, so if you can convince me you're good, then maybe Frow might not be a Jedi. Go ahead and try!"

Rasco finally shuts down his lightsaber and allows Kir to come closer.

[Graybacca]

Kir puts his own weapon in its holster and the approaches Rasco taking his tool kit out and starts to access Rasco's Programming and looks to see what Frow changed the duplicates it doing as the droid suggested to make himself a some one of the one the droid trust.

Not only do you manage to get yourself recognized as one of the droid's allies, you also gain access to its basic combat protocols. It seems it has some alternative programming modules which are not in use.

Seeing as Kir managed to show R45-CO its idiot ball, Gavik hands the lightsaber back to the now-friendly droid.

((What I'm trying to say is that you beat his Will defense by five, so by RAW you can completely overhaul his feats, talents, and skills as long as you stick to feats and talents for which he, as a Non-heroic 2/Soldier 6, would have access to.))
