The door swhings open, bringing in the dreaded light of the hallway. The rather homely woman is in the doorway. "A man is here to see you. He says it's very important."

Tormor
The man laughs. "I always liked you Tormor. I think you are also about to set a record for jail time as well!"

Merry
"Unfortunately, yes. This city leans towards Heironeous more than Pelor. A shame really. Well sir, you seem to be all right, just go easy on your left arm for a little while."

Jhaelven sheathes his rapier. Send him in. he tells the maid. As she closes the door, Jhaelven stands, hand near his rapier, wondering who would pay hima visit.

Sarach

"Cheese? Nah kid, 'fraid not." he casually pokes the kid gently in the stomach. "When was tha las' time you et?" he asks."An' why cheese?"

Merry

Damn this cleric, things were going so well.

As the cleric leaves, Merry speaks to Ivy again.

"Ivy, please, tell me something about yourself. Do you live alone in this house?

"Well, I was really hoping to set a record for shortest stint in a cell, and any help with that would be well appreciated"

Three men enter the room after the maid gets them. One is a tall old human. The other two are very tough looking dwarves, no dobt bodyguards. "Mister Do'ad. You are a very hard man to find. But not even one such as you is untraceable. There is something I desire of you. Call it a favor if you like."

Sarach
"I haven't eaten in a week. And cheese is my favorite food. But you can't help me." He runs off to pester someone else.

Merry
She seems surprised at the question. "Most of the time. My brother comes here whenever he's worn out his welcome with the rest of my family. You're wearing his pants right now.

Tormor
"Ah, laddie. I think I can help you with that. But first you must promise me something."

My house is Do'arn, not Do'ad. Please, if you go to ask a favor from someone in the future, be sure to address them correctly. Now then, you mentioned a favor you wanted to ask of me? Go ahead. Though keep in mind that I do very little for nothing. This had better be damn good fun or profitable. Jhaelven leans back against the wall, his hands behind his head, waiting.

"My beautiful saviour, I believe that words at this time should be thrown out the window. Yes, I know, I have been talking a lot. Nevermind. The point is, that I believe that you and I should be together. Did I say think? No, I feel it. My heart, my brain, and my body all tell me that you should be mine, and that the passion that we shall share will be unmatchable."

At this point, Merry will stand up and attempt to kiss Ivy.

Sarach

"How odd. For a kid half starved, he sure can run quick...and is rather fussy about what he eats. Not as hungry as he says, I guess..." Sarach wonders to himself, as he watches the kid run off. Not having anywhere to be, he stands and begins wandering the streets.

"Anything for an old friend, unless it involves that hellish sister of yours again..."

"Trust me. It will be both fun and profitable." One of the dwarves shuts the door. Both of them have a wary eye on you. "But before we begin, you must swear to tell no one."

"On a more serious note though, what is this task that you need me to perform?"

[ForzaFiori]

Jhaelven acts as though he is comtemplating, then leans towards the men. Alright, deal. I will tell no one about this meeting. Now what is this job you have for me?

Merry
Ivy backs toward the door, shocked. "What are you saying." Her voice is quavering.

Sarach
You see nothing worthy of note. About the most exciting thing is a rich man who is clearly being swindled by a shopkeeper. Out of nowhere, a cloaked woman puts a paper in your hand. Before you can say something she dissapears into the crowd. The paper says, "Wait Here"

Tormor
"Trustme. Maya will not be involved with this job. But before I tell you anything, you must promise to tell no one."

Jhaelven
"I apologize, but I do not know. I was simply sent to collect you to bring you to the meeting place. And that is where we shall go now." He stands up and turns to leave.

[ForzaFiori]

This had better be good Jhaelven thinks as he gathers his belongings. Alright. Lets go. Hopefully it won't be a long walk. he says, as he follows them out of the room.

"Of course not, you have my word"

Jhaelven
without a word, the man leaves the room. As you follow him, the dwarves follow behind you. You leave the inn and walk along the streets for about a mile. Finally you reach a building, where the man opens the door and motions you inside.

Tormor
"Good." He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a key. He unlocks both your cells and leads you out of the prison. The guards do nothing to stop you.

"Much though I love fighting unarmed and unprotected, could you be so kind as to give me my weapons and breastplate. Also, how did you bribe those guards into just ignoring us as we walked out?"

[An Enemy Spy]

He takes you a store room and all of your things are there. "Bribe? There was no bribe. There are things at work here that you do not understand, and never will."

[DrakebloodIV]

"Well can you throw me some sort of bone here? This cloak and dagger wears thin quickly. I have accepted the fact that there are things in my life I will never understand, and I tend to kill them"

"I'm afraid not. There isn't much point in cloak and dagger if you come out of the shadows. Suffice it to say that things are not always what they seem."

Sarach

Sarach looks at the paper, mildly confused. "Stay here? Well, I was never one for mystery. Lets hope it's easily solved..." He stands high, trying to see if he can see where the woman went.

Jhaelven steps through the door, moving immediatly to the left as he gets in. He looks around quickly, insuring that the room isn't a trap.

"I am saying, my fair lady, that you have conquered my heart with your help and generosity. And, as my heart is yours, I want you to have it. And my body as well..."

"Well then, lets get started. I'm in the mood to make things dead, unless you are also going to say that I don't get to work in my other region of expertise"

There is absolutely nothing in the room. No furniture, no windows, nothing. "Don't go anywhere." Your mysterious companion saya, and he and both dwarves leave, shutting the door. You are alone in the dark.

Merry
"I think that blow to your head did more damage than I thought. You might want to lie down some more."

Tormor
Very well, follow me." He leads you out of the prison and onto the streets. You walk for a ways and stop at a butcher shop.

Tormar is tense as he enters the room, he looks around for anything out of the ordinary. He pays specific attention to the patrons of this suspicious looking meat vendor.

You clearly hear a few uninteresting conversations about everday things. "Stop mucking about!" your companion says, and leads through a door, down some stairs and into a room where a drow is sstanding in the corner. There are no furniture or windows. "You two play nicely. And don't leave this room." the man says. He goes back through the door and closes it.
