"My name is of no importance, and neither is the woman. I am a member of an army that does not exist. So don't ask about it any more. I have gathered the three of you to run a little errand for me. Recently, we have had some trouble with a group that also does not exist. So we sent a spy to infiltrate them. He did not return. You are to find him and bring him back here. He hands Sarach a paper. "This is the address that our sources said he was at. Go in quietly and bring him back. Do not kill him or anyone that he is with. Tell no one about this. We will know.As for the last question, anybody else I would have chosen would be asking the same question. You are of no importance, simply some shmucks that were gathered by people other than me."

"Well, not much really. I remember you standing next to me after the crash, but I don't remember the crash itself, or... well, anything before. What day is it exactly?"

She wraps her arms around you and rests her head on her shoulder. "Damesday. You only crashed this afternoon."

The last thing he remembers is simply that he was going somewhere very important.

Sarach reads the address and frowns. "Is that all the information? Here's what you're doing, here's the address see you later? We could use more information."

"Well, I was going somewhere... somewhere important. I don't know where though. I guess it will come to me when I least think about it."

After saying this, he placed his hand on Ivy's hair, and started stroking it.

"What more information could you possibly need? You are not members of our group. We do not tell outsiders who we are. Just remember, there are a thousand others just like you. You know that we exist and quite fraknly, you wouldn't be much use to us if you declined now." He says that with a hint of menace. Then, with another puff of smoke, the elf is gone.

Merry
She does not stop you. She lays next to you, looking perfectly content. Time drags on, and she falls asleep, her body pressed against yours.

Merry stays awake, enjoying having Ivy so close, but also thinking about all the things that happened, including but not restricted to, the damn Cleric.

well, my new compatriots, what do you think we should do? Should we go after this spy, at risk of life and limb, with no mention of a reward or even thank you, or should we refuse, and spend a good bit of time, quite possibly the rest of our lives, however long that may be, being chased by "an army that doesn't exist?" Jhaelven asks the two standing with him.

"Very well then. Jhaelven, Tormar. Let us be off. The quicker we deal with this, the quicker we'll be done and free to go."

Tormar grins cockily and says "He handed me the adress, but I'm sorry to say I'm illeterate"

The address is 14 Andurin Way. On the back of the paper is a blue rune. You find that touching this causes a map to appear in front of your eyes. Only Sarach can see this map. Touching the rune again makes it dissapear.

After accidentally touching the rune the first time, Sarach speaks. "14 Andurin Way. It shouldn't be too hard to find, so I'll lead the way, shall I?"

Wow. A magic map.

The streets are less crowded than before, but still quite busy. Overhead, Pheamios, the night moon is about half full. It takes quite a while to reach your destination. When finally arrive, you see a small house built into part of another building. The is a large window in the front.

"Well, friends, here we are. What's the plan, do we charge in with the element of suprise, try and trick them into giving up our target, or do we try and sneak him out with them unawares?"
