What is your favorite Erfworld unit and why?

Is it the hobgobwin Knights? Is it the "corndogs?" Is it the Schlemiel elves? Which race would you choose in an Erfworld RPG?

Make up details if you want. For example, if you picked an unnamed unit, like the Mexican-wrestler-mask guy in the portal scene of the Magic Kingdom, make up his kingdom's name, his race name, his abilities, etc. Feel free to pun.

I liked the elves. Particularly the eager elves. The LoZ reference was full of win.

Clearly the best units in Erfworld are the cloth golems. For themselves as much as what they represent, they better then any other unit sum up the whole of what is erfworld.

I mean there are gobwins and other adorably mispronounced creatures, but the idea of a massive teddy bear siege golem seems to be the festering core of erfworld's underlying cuteness.

Do any dare challenge this!!?

Got to say, the uncroaked are pretty cool, but... definetly want to get in on either archons or vampires. can "monstrous" races learn magic in Erf? Archon or Vampire croakamancer would be wins.

We don't know that there is any category as "monstrous races." But we have seen a Transylvitonian thinkamancer.

The marbits - somehow, they managed to keep their "r" when even *spidews* lost theirs. Now that's tenacity. Plus, they're tiny and deadly, like ebola. Plus, one axemen squad costs an ENTIRE Titanic gem, and I like a race that doesn't come cheap.

I personally think of them as Erf's approach to dwarves, just without any marshmallow beards.

Archons are the best. If I were a overlord in Erfworld I'd like to have a few of those.

My favorite would have to be the Battle Bears. Their a certain charm in a self-transportable siege unit. However, they are debateably fragile.

Still what ever unit type Wanda is? Yeah I'm going to pick that. Behold the omni-caster uber-melee unit! Either that or the kidnapped-from-Earth unit that pops artifacts and intel on the enemy. Wait how could I forget... Titan.

Besides the Archons and the named characters, I'd have to go with the Unipegataurs. There's just something very cool about flying centaurs, like having two sets of arms to make attacks between them and their riders.

I'd choose FAQ. The kind of overpowered side I like. Good and numerous casters (at least two of three are world class), strong fighting units (Jillian). As overlord I would mop up erfworld.

I suspect FAQ's units rock so hard because they have all the time in the world to devote to building good units, since it's so hard to attack them. Everyone else is under constant threat, so they need to make hordes of bad units in case they're attacked RIGHT NOW. I suspect Charlescomm has a similar benefit, and if you're not a COMPLETE idiot, Goblin Knob can function in a similar way (alas, Stanley, alas......) owing to its relatively superior defenses.
