Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
Sugar, eggs, potato chips, soda, a cup of sour (lemon juice), and wheat worms (gummy worms).
...Now that I've actually written out the recipe, it looks pretty risky. If you're actually going to give this a try (don't think that's a good idea), you probably shouldn't make too many.Last edited by RdMarquis; 2011-03-22 at 12:40 PM.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
First off, does anyone have the deviant art handy with the Obama-esque posters for Equestria?
Second, were we doing the MLP avvys? I had to miss the thread. Should I re-enter my request?

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
Potato chips.. Hmm... plain unsalted might work.
The cup of sour is what ruins it. Reduce to a few teaspoons of grapefruit juice. Then add the actual flour.
And use cream soda.
3dit: But I'd have to make it for my tongue to fix it.
Its is similar to my potato chip covered sweet potato pie.Last edited by Orzel; 2011-03-22 at 12:57 PM.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
*huggles FOREVER!*
Anybody want to help me and Introbulus with naming my Unicorn? We've determined that she loves hugging people, has an addiction to soda, uses her magic as an antigravity cupholder, and runs a Soft drink/soda/Smoothie bar since all the stereotypical movie bartenders seem to listen to their customers and give them a metaphorical shoulder to cry on. The best we've come up with is "Smoothie" which I really like but I kind of prefer double names.
And that's not the only thing she can do with her magic, that's just the thing she does most often.Last edited by Mystic Muse; 2011-03-22 at 02:00 PM.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
Brainstorming time!
Boston Cooler (named for a milkshake with some soda pop mixed in)
Soda Jerk (for the job, though it isn't a very nice name)...
Soda Fountain
Barbara Keep (Barkeep, hah hah hah)
Fruit Smoothie
That's all I can think of.
Edit: Hm. Three names seems unponylike. I think Soft Serve on its own really encapsulates the character.Last edited by darthbobcat; 2011-03-22 at 02:25 PM.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
Well, here's one more off the list.
Spoiler
The hard part is coming up with mane/tail stylings. None of the people who've asked for one have specified anything, so I have to wing them.
Anyway, that's Lo Maine. I'm imagining him as the 'cereal guy' meme, but with noodles.
EDIT: And I'm not super-happy with the hair. I couldn't find anything particularly fitting.Last edited by Khosan; 2011-03-22 at 02:25 PM.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
o.O
Colts, fast thread is fast. So much pony to catch up on, but I did it.
Things I loved: pony historiography, geography and academia.
Things I'm confused about: I know I requested a ponytar ages ago, but I don't know who took it up, so could whoever did please speak out?
Latest success re: converting to the herd.
Tomorrow I'm showing my mum how to use the internet specifically because she wants to watch pony - and the best part is that she got a lot of pony fanon/messing around off of me such as ponyconomics and the Iron Hoof theory and so on; so she's a brony anyway.
And my eighteen-year-old Little Brother is secretly watching the show too.
66% complete.
Bathatar!
Squid bones are lies.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
I'll just repost from the last page:
I'm also working on another piece of standalone art, so ZombyWoof's request is on the backburner for the next couple days.
[EDIT]: A little preview: (colors and arrangement subject to change; just a taste of the style I'm going for)
Spoiler
Hopefully the style still leaves it clear enough who that's supposed to be.
Oh, and a question. What would you say is Frank Sinatra's most recognizable visual trait(s)? It could be a pose, a piece of clothing, a color, anything. It just has to scream "Sinatra" when you see it.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
Oh, as for what makes Frank Sinatra Frank Sinatra? I think it's that mix of rat pack suit, with his eyes and smile.
To me, this is the best reference possible.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
What do I see when I think of Frank Sinatra? I'd say his eyes. They're very striking.
This sounds like an amazing idea. If you have the money to spare, go for it. Otherwise, I'd be tentative to spend money on a bunch of toy ponies that may not survive past their first host. XD
So... As I've said before, I've only really seen 1.5 or so episodes of MLP. I've been meaning to actually sit down and watch it, but I don't really get the time that often. Well, the last few days have been pretty rough on me. (Death in the family, issues with school, yadda yadda yadda) This has left feeling rather "blah," with my nerves somewhat frazzled and my mood quite dour. So today, I pretty much decided to just skip all my classes and watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Specifically, the pilot episode(s). Was it the responsible thing to do? Nope. Do I feel better?
Yep.
Now, on to the next episode! XDAnemoia: Nostalgia for a time you've never known.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
Pony naming?
Spoiler
Originally he was going to be some sort of designer guy with a cutie mark based on an incredibly bad pun (blue hoofprints = blueprints. Geddit?), but now he's backstoryless. So, I guess he needs one of those as well.Last edited by Etcetera; 2011-03-22 at 03:50 PM.

Re: My Little Pony III: The Great & Powerful Thread
I saw his Cutie Mark and immediately decided he was a Gentlepony adventurer (Obviously, he has misplaced his hat) who traveled the world. And thus, his name. Globetrotter.
