Hmm... I've always been vaguely interested in those PBP RP games, but a bit too afraid to just jump in.

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: Savannah
They're lots of fun! ...I'm really resisting the urge to tell you all about them, as I don't have time to type out everything I'd want to say right now (plus it would probably end up boring really soon to anyone but me). But here's my favorite game ever, if you're interested in reading along (don't worry, we've already got stalkers, so you'd be in good company ). And if you're thinking about joining up, check this thread out.
Kinda a lame answer, I know, but there's so much to tell... I'm happy to answer more specific questions, but I don't really know where to start on that one.Knowledge is power.

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: Savannah
Crazy.
Blue.
Raspberries.
Strawberry cheesecake. Yes, that's an ice cream flavor.
I...don't really have one. All the songs I like aren't really applicable to my life
No idea.
Here.
1 Best when accompanied by four legs and fur.
2 Always good, but it's better to have a few true friends than dozens of "friends" you hardly know.
3 Absolutely essential.
I'm going to go with blue-green.
Um...I've never tried it.
Water and air. Particularly where they mix, as with waterfalls or surf.
No one. I'd invite everyone from my current games to a massive D&D game instead.
Yeah, a few, but not nearly to the extent that I'm on here.
Like with the theme song question, the fictional characters I like to read about have very little to do with my life...
Hell no.
Don't have one.
Sadly no. Unless you count chatting with them outside of the Playground as "knowing in real life".
Little reordering here, as the answer to this is essential to understanding the one below.
I want to work as a dog behaviorist/trainer.
I was volunteering at the animal shelter and showing a lady who was thinking about adopting a dog how we teach the dogs to sit and so on. She asked if I taught dog training classes, as I explained everything so it made perfect sense and she was hoping she could take classes with me.
Honestly, the one above was pretty darn good.
I generally just say "hi".
Usually "bye".

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: Savannah
I never know when my music is from (I do like some old stuff, but I don't know how old). Got some example names?
Mercedes Lackey.
Just finished Shield of Stars by Hilari Bell.
Well...I'm fond of Jada because I adored (but didn't own) a dog named Jada. I once knew a dog named Bamboo, which I thought was an awesome name. And for some reason, I really want a blue or blue spotted pitbull (well, I know why I want that ) named Blue (not imaginative, I know, so I'm not sure why it appeals to me so much).
I knew a puppy named "She", which was a dumb name and her former owner abused her, so I'm definitely not fond of that (and other unimaginative names like "Dog"). I don't like mean sounding names like "Spike" or "Killer". And I don't like "Fifi" and similar foofy names.
Um...I don't "put up" with you "nattering at" me. I enjoy talking to you

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: Savannah
Nope.
I do not handle stress well without a pet to snuggle.
Grew up a lot.
Still fiercely independant. A lot of my likes and dislikes have stayed the same, too.
Best:
Sight - torn between a wiggly puppy and any sort of pristine natural landscape.
Smell - home. Couldn't tell you what makes it home, but I can sure smell when I get there.
Taste - it really depends on what I want at the moment.
Touch - soft fur with a warm body underneath...generally dog, but I'm quite happy with rat fur as well.
Sound - the roar of a waterfall.
Worst:
Sight/Touch - twice, with a dog at the animal shelter that I loved deeply, I've known in advance that they're going to be taken away from me -- once because he was going to be euthanized and once because she was being sent to another shelter halfway across the state. Trying to memorize their faces, memorize the feel of their bodies when I pet them, so that I would never, ever forget them.
Smell - vomit.
Taste - cooked peas.
Sound - a screaming baby.
Did I answer that right?
Depends entirely on when you'd be there -- I'm moving at the moment and waaay too busy and stressed to have a visitor.
There's plenty in the fridge.
If you think I'm still going to be here when they come for me...

Re: GtKaP Interview Thread 2: Moff Chumley
Reinholdt
SpoilerWhat question would you like to be asked?
That's a good question.
What traits do you look for in an ideal pet?
Low-maintenance, and fluffiness. So, cats.
What is the square root of Pi?
Something in the neighborhood of 1.7754.
What's your favorite OOTS strip?
Man, I don't think I could pick one... off the top of my head, the Belkar hallucination scene was great.
What's your favorite Erfworld strip?
It's been a while since I've read Erfworld. One day I'll find a couple of appropriate albums and go through and reread the whole thing, but I don't think it'll be any time soon.
How does your ITP persona relate to you in real life?
Uh... that's a good question. I'm in the habit of, essentially, transcribing what my verbal response to a post would be into text, so I have to imagine having an online conversation with me and having a verbal one would be pretty similar. In general, I'd like to think I'm a little more pleasant in real life; I smile a lot.
Sadistic choice time! You must choose to save either the life of your most loved one or the lives of a large group of strangers. Which do you choose?
I don't think I'd have the force of will to avoid immediately saving a loved one. I'd feel horrible afterwards either way, but there it is.
What is your favorite word?
Good question. I like lots of words; narm, bolshevik, Azerbaijan, et cetera.
What is your least favorite word?
Tax. Can't stand that word.
What makes you enthusiastic?
New ideas.
What disappoints you?
Getting blisters from playing bass.
What sound do you love?
There's nothing in the world more beautiful than audio distortion.
What sound do you hate?
Jason Mraz. Jason Mraz and Train. Eeeuuurgh.
What profession other than yours would you like to attempt?
I'd love to give employment a chance.
What profession would you not like to participate in?
Fast food industry.
wxdruid. I know these were addressed to Savannah but I'm answering 'em anyway.
SpoilerWhat color(s) do you prefer to wear?
Purple.
What do you like to collect?
Guitar effects.
How many avatars do you have?
One at a time. I've probably had ten or fifteen over the last four years, but for the foreseeable future, I'm sticking with this one.
Are you ever coming to GenCon?
Not any time soon. I don't have the cash.
What type of chocolate do you prefer?
Dark chocolate is best chocolate.
What type and how many pets do you have?
I have two (2) guinea pigs.
Do you enjoy watching the Weather Channel?
Is this a trick question?
mangosta
SpoilerDo you, in fact, have any cheese here at all?
Plenty. And it's all MINE! MIIIIINE! MWA!
Will you go quietly when they come for you?
Son, you best believe I will be whining and bitching at the top of my lungs.
What is your anti-zombie weapon of choice?
Aluminum baseball bat. Or a crowbar.
Are you running to something, or from something?
Both, at the same time.
What's the magic word?
What makes you think I'd tell you if I knew? *eyebrow wiggle*
Mauve Shirt
SpoilerCould I have 500 nickels?
Sure, I see no reason why you couldn't.
...you're not asking for 500 nickels, are you?
Chocolate or vanilla?
Chocolate, probably.
What is your favorite book?
Life, The Universe, and Everything.
What song could you listen to nonstop for 5 days and not get sick of?
I don't think that song's been written.
Do you still think you don't fit in here?
Hmmm... I think there are a couple of people in the playground I have quite a bit in common with, and a huge majority that I have next to nothing in common with. That said, I'm a lot more comfortable here, so I guess that's a "no".Last edited by Moff Chumley; 2011-07-19 at 02:25 PM.

See above.

I'm not a huge juice fan, to be honest. In the same family of drink, I'd rather have lemonade or something.

Cotton.

Much to my eternal chagrin, I have never owned a slinky.

Deadpool.

What do you think I think of?
14. Do you like haiku?
Only when it's done right. Which is to say, very rarely.
15. If you had a choice between zombies or aliens destroying humanity, which would you choose?
Zombies.
16. Sufficiently advanced aliens visit earth and say they'll change just one thing about you. It can be anything at all. What would you choose?
Hmmmm... I'd like to be a little less physically perfect. I find it distracts from my overwhelming intellect.
17. Do you think aliens from another planet ever actually visit Earth?
Not really.
18. Do you prefer to control a project from beginning to end, always repair the same flaw in someone else's project, choose to leave well enough alone, or some other mode of creation I haven't figured out here?
If I'm gonna invest myself in a project, I'm inevitably gonna try to micromanage it. I'm more than capable of half-assing things, though...
19. You could build your dream house within five miles of your current home. What goes into it?
Home studio, enormous walk-in fridge. That's all I got.
20. I give you a seed; you water it with your favorite bit of poetry. What sprouts from it?
Probably something ugly and useless, but perfectly healthy.
Favourite cartoon and why?
Futurama, because it's the only one I watch.
Do Infected Girls, indeed, do it better?
'course they do. Would **** Valentine lie?Avatar by Kris on a Stick
