I don't see it as OOC. I mean, everyone has interests that you wouldn't gather from just looking at them.

And that's the wonderful world of fanfiction, where background ponies who's never said more than two sentences get to shine.

Oh no, I'm not saying it couldn't happen in Fan Fiction. I'd LOVE to see that Fic. But I'm just saying the show seems to refuse to focus at all on background ponies, so while I could see the plot being a real episode it's unfortunate that it wouldn't actually happen. Cause I'd love to see something like that on TV rather than just read it.

...There's an idea. Turn fics into episodes with GMod. BACK TO THE WORKBENCH.

Yeah, you just gotta be aware that they tend to disappear suddenly at the start of a day only to just as suddenly reappear later in that same day roughly coincident with you resolving some conflict that arose.
