Oh hey a river. Let's stare at that.

Wenomir falls silent for a moment, realizing that the appeal of their surroundings - which he enjoys, if only for their novelty - is lost on KR. After crossing the river, they have to go uphill for a while. Then the terrain goes flat again and they can see a clearing, in the middle of which stands a cottage. The building is made of wood, with stone underpinning, and has a sturdy and solid look about it. There's smoke coming out of the chimney.
Well, here we are. Let's get inside; it really is getting cold out here, Wenomir says.

[Harin's Universe]

"Of course," Harin says, smiling. "You think we should check outside, or see if anything's come up the stairs since I've been gone?"

Rahona ponderously ponders before replying.

"A'd say we check outside, much more ta see."

She looks around for the exit, noticing that there is no apparent door.

(Or that's what I think, I kind of forgot if you mentioned other ways out than the tiny hole. ^_^')

Dammit! KR's having fun! I swear! It's just that her player happens to be a talentless hack who can't write!

Which of course means it's up to us, as players, to come up with some wacky hijinks in order to make this the Best! Date! Evar!

Pffft. Wenomir's trying. Going to a regular restaurant with people in it would have ended in a catastrophy and the two being banned from all such estabilishments in the Nexus. Not his fault KR's hard to please.
As the two enter the cottage, the find themselves in a corridor lined with shelves and hangers. The inside of the cottage is indeed warm and cozy. Wenomir takes off his jacket, then his blouse, leaving him in a sleeveless shirt. Feels like home, he comments. It'll be good to relax without something happening every five minutes. Like shadow wizards breaking into KR's room. Wenomir's mood is slightly soured by KR's lack of enthusiasm, but he sounds casual for now. He's beginning to think he's going to have a serious talk with KR about their relationship after all, but he still hopes, if faintly, that it might be avoided.

[Lady Serpentine]

Harin nods, and heads for said construction; if Rahona follows he'll start walking towards the wall of mist that surrounds the area around his house, in a bubble at a distance of around a hundred feet.

"Stick close when we're going through. The wraiths don't treat those they consider to be uninvited kindly."

Pfft. Shadow mages sneaking into KR's room is her idea of fun.
Yeah, she uh... doesn't do peace and quiet very well. A day without and explosion is a day wasted, in her most humble opinion.

Meh. At this point it's overdue.

And sleeveless shirt YAAAAAAY!!!

Good god, this is the worst relationship ever.

"True. I suppose the constant crises do get a little wearying." Says KR, also removing her coat, and rolling up the sleeves of her shirt.

Sadly, that's pretty much true. Here's to hoping Wenomir will manage to fix that. It's kind of sad when he's the more social partner in a relationship. For now, he tries to put his arm around KR again. Let's head to the living room. There's something I'd like to talk about...

"Um... sure." Follow, follow, follow your boyfriend to the living room!

Wenomir's still not sure how to handle it, really. He's very much unprepared for this sort of thing, but he does feel that something has to change... dammit. Oh, well. He'll play it by ear. Maybe all it'll take will be some suggestions. The atmosphere should help.
He leads KR to the living room, which contains a table with two chairs, several cupboards and a couch in front of the fireplace, with a rug between them. He'll try to get KR seated on the couch and sit close to her himself... after taking his shirt off.

"Wraiths? Are they watch animals? How do they look?"

She tries to make out anything in the mist, but stays within arm-reach of Harin. Guard animals are not to be taken slightly.

There appear to be strange, half-formed, things darting about in the mist, just far enough into it that they could be dismissed as nerves, especially considering the light breeze that just sprang up; not quite enough to blow the fog away, but certainly powerful enough to stir it.

"Fog-spirits, of a sort. They look like humans, up close, though made of mist. At a distance... They look like that," he says, gesturing to the darting thing likeliest to be most visible to Rahona.

[Harin's Universe]

Rahona looks after the darting Wraiths, enthralled by the obviously magical nature of Harin's world.

"Amazing."

She remembers to stay close to her companion, however. Fascination is no reason to be foolish.

Jamie sticks her tongue out at Abigail.
"Guess I'll just have to try and out-weird you then!"

Abigail grins back. "Suppose you will."

It's a sporadic talent, unfortunately.

"I think I'll just grow his lips together....", she says, going to do so, and heading in the direction of the cells.

[Loarna Manor]

"Grow his lips together?!"

Juppy inquires, obviously stunned.

"Isn't that a little extreme?"

The priest does deserve injury, but permanently growing his lips together? Is that warranted? How could it be justified? Isn't that stooping to his level?

... Juppy, you just choked the man! Don't be so harshly judgmental!

Abigail grins back. "Suppose you will."

"The only question is how...or if I should just be weird through being normal," Jamie ponders, her grin growing as she thinks.

[horngeek]

Nanoha, at this point, comes out of the kitchen. "Or just try being yourself, hmm?"

[The Bushranger]

"...where's the fun in that?"
Jamie sticks her tongue out, but nods.
"That was kinda the idea yeah."

Jeremy's Realm



"...you know, I think I will have to admit that you are right." Shawna chuckles as well, blushing slightly, and tucks her head under Jeremy's chin with a pleased-sounding sigh. "But, strange or not, I do not think I would wish to be apart from you for any longer than ever might be necessary."

Jeremy's Realm

Jeremy closes his eyes, smiling gently as he holds Shawna close. "Thank you." He whispers sincerely before he nestles his body closer and starting to drift to sleep.

Nanoha smiles. "Good. Tea's ready!"

[Jeremy's Realm]

Shawna's response is simply to softly kiss Jeremy's neck, sighing contentedly before she, too, drifts off into a post-d'awwpocalyptic dreamland.

"I hope you've got lots of sugar for the tea. Or maybe honey?" Jamie asks, following Nanoha to the tea. And to dinner! Her stomach rumbling.

Nanoha gives Jamie a look of... disbelief?

Abigail snickers. "Jamie's used to Western-style tea, methinks."

"...oh, this would be green tea, then?" Jamie asks, blushing a little in embarassment.

Abigail grins and nods. "It's actually a pretty common mistake here."

Hey, KR, do you know what would be a really good idea in this sort of situation? No really, what's the best possible thing for you to do right now?

That's right! Turn your brain off! Just reach up there and turn it right off! And then, once it's been turned off, tear the bloody thing out of your skull, beat it several times with a flail tied to a bigger flail tied to a concrete breeze block tied to an elephant, bury it for seven months, exhume, rebury it, only this time in a bucket full of lye for company, re-exhume it, stab it with a rowan stake doused in holy water, blessed by a dying pope, sprinkled with nutmeg, and baked in aluminum foil, grab it by the stem and whirl it around in the middle of a briar patch, hammer toss it into a field filled with nettles, slather honey over it and let parasitic burrowing wasps lay their eggs all over it, then place it back into your skull and turn it back on.
That would be the ideal thing to do in this sort of situation.
"Um... it's not that hot in here, is it?"

"Well, I'll try not to make it again," Jamie confirms, as presumably they arrive at the kitchen!

Yep! They do.

Nanoha giggles as she serves out dinner (which is, in fact, Japanese food. Horngeek is, unfortunately, not familiar with what a typical Japanese dinner is). "At least you know why you don't add stuff to Japanese tea..."

Likely sushi, followed by fried rice of some type...

"Yup, I do," Jamie says, giggling.

[Cottage]

Wenomir sighs internally. He was hoping KR would be glad to see him like this, but apparently he miscalculated again. There goes a part of his plan to get her into the right mood...
Well, it is rather warm. Besides, I wear armor a lot of the time so it feels nice to let loose sometimes. It's not a problem, is it? He asks with a raised eyebrow. I thought you'd like it, anyway.

In any case, dinner is served! "Anyway... we'll go to have a look at your magic tomorrow and see what I can teach you."
