Whats the verdict on 'not so omniscient' (only knowledge of the present, can easily be blocked by magic, technology, and wearing orange. . .) characters and reality benders (limited by chaotic things happening if he does anything more than 'fly' (shifting personal gravity))?

If it's used tactfully, either one of those sounds like a fun idea, although the second moreso than the first, since it would mean less passive intrusion into other's characters secrets. Not every character has magic powers that block omniscience after all.

The second is our favorite as well.

The omniscient thing is only linked to the now as soon as something drifts into the past it is forgotten, unless the person concentrates on one area above all the others, thus losing what happened to them that moment. It is limited other ways as well such as things we do not know, or what others don't want that person to know, or any scene that may end with The Curtain.

Recover quickly! If your Dr. knows what he's doing, it's not too bad having those teeth taken out.

Just a word of advice: only drink clear liquids for several hours after the procedure. Do not eat ice cream, yogurt or other milk-based products until later when you know for absolutely certain that your stomach can handle it. As for why.... just take my word for it. I learned the hard way.

Advice from the Elder Crone of the FFRP tribe to the younger Americans: Get your wisdom teeth removed while you're still on your parent's insurance. You really don't want to have to pay for it yourself when suddenly they become infected and have to come out right away.

Well, those first two I saw coming. Magtok was getting around, last I checked, and Ilpholin's always been the smartest.

But babies? Dipsnig? That scowl hasn't imploded his face yet has it?

Aaaanyway, before I do any more posting, I wanted to let some people (I.E., anyone who cares) know: I am definitely cutting down on my active characters. Not that it will matter too much, since I've been gone two months, but I can't handle as many as I was running. I was far too busy then, and while I currently have an abundance of free time, I don't wanna do the same thing twice. I had so many characters I couldn't keep track, let alone develop them all properly.

I'd like to run only five or six characters max. For now, I've decided on Fettina, Adir, Teq Vraal, Bellan Vraal, and Jack Empty. Mostly cuz I've plans in mind, backstories written, or they're just plain my favorite character(s).

Of course, I've got to find out if people have noted their absence IC, if it matters, what's happened (mostly with Adir's kid, Teq's contract, and Tina's plans with Evan). Blurgh.

Thanks Slii. I was wondering about that. That does bring up another point: just because I'm running few characters doesn't mean I can't run all the ones I used to. I'll just have to cycle them in and out, I suppose.

As for the wedding, among other plots I left for dead, just PM me if you want to start them again. I'm here now, and depending on which character is involved, I can probably throw them at it.

Hey Murkus, it's good to see your avatar without checking older threads (since actually seeing you isn't the easiest thing for this medium without getting webcams involved). I know that the Alexandrian was interested in continuing to play that slave of his which belonged to your Nazi demon.

Also, WATCHTOWER is in the process of slowly infiltrating and attacking the Hermitage to free their slaves; the thread is the Temples of Dalachrech I thread, located on page 2 at the moment.

Firstly, Welcome Back Murkus!

Secondly, since C'nor's character brought it up, I figured I would mention a potential plot idea. Basically, this came from wanting to give Chris more character development and to actually have his backstory be a tangible thing rather than have it be some thing that he mentions whenever drama is needed.

Basically, the idea was that his home world would be brought into the Nexus in some capacity. Most likely in pieces, although if it isn't an issue than just dragging in the planet would work too, I guess. The main point is, when Chris and BR went to go stop elder evils and stuff, Chris got kicked out and kept out for some reason, the world was saved and it continued to try and rebuild things in the aftermath, until this moment where this world is dragged into the Nexus. Thing is, I have no idea how to implement this plot. There's a bunch of notes and NPCs on this setting that are mostly focused around Chris that I'm worried that it'll either end up with me roleplaying with myself half the time, or that other people would feel like they're forced to play along with my script so to speak.

Anything for a poor, poor roleplayer? *puppy dog eyes*

Thirdly, is it alright to ask for Nexus avatars here, or should I go to the avatar request thread already?
