The Theater

There is a brief, terrifying, maddening second that Teq thinks it's finally over. Those cannons are going to eat him alive. And he'd deserve it, too. But, further bolstering his belief that Fate is on his side, Demon Queen explodes onto the scene. The Queen takes down not one, but both of the mech suits, scarcely allowing the first to gain his feet before she falls upon the second.

Unfortunately for the (other) mass murderers, Teq has not been crouching idly by. His hands move independently, detaching two separate parts from his belt and linking them together. The resulting weapon looks almost organic - it's short, almost a pistol, lined along the barrel by insectoid ridges that pulse and glow with a soft golden light. This, he levels at the oncoming projectile.

A terrifying howl issues from the weapon, and shrieking like a throng of damned souls, a blast of pure psionic energy is unleashed. With the sanctified Hatred of a thousand screaming zealots, this energy turns the flying metal shield to dust. It splashes across Teq, coloring his visor with what used to be refined minerals, but he doesn't notice in the least.

Without missing a beat, this weapon is turned on the unoccupied trooper, and a second shot is fired. If he can, he'll slag the thing's arm, severing it at the joint in a shower of sparks and Hate.

Interaction Wanted

[Sewers]

Deep in the sewers of the Blue Zone, a dead Borg drone can be found. It is ripped limb from limb, and there is a gaping hole in its chest. There are things in the sewer, things that are on the prowl to create a new nest. The creatures within have spent the past couple of days creating large webbing from some sort of resin, which is located about twenty feet deeper into the sewers, barely visible if one were to look at the Borg drone's location.

Over the past three days, two people have gone missing. Hopefully someone can put a stop to this before any more attacks occur.

Mystic Hut

"Can you tell me which street that is?" Justinian asks, almost begging to know the information from the old man. "I truly need to know." He says. "It is a matter of life or death for someone dear to me."

The mystic names the street and relatively how far it is. It shouldn't take Justinian too long to get there if he runs. "Go quickly, child." He bids him.

[Wanderin' Through the City]

"Repeeent!" caterwauls a disheveled looking hobo wearing a sandwich board and a paper-bag like a hat. He rings a large bell to get the attention of as many people as possible.

"Repeeeeent!" he hollers. "Repent for the End of Thread is near!"
