Re: Goodbye, So Long, Farewell II
Well then, I go back to the seminary tomorrow morning, so as usual I'll be refraining from posting here to focus on my studies. You all know the routine by now. I'll see you again in December!

Bye Draggy!
SpoilerThis is the thief who likes to hoard,
That loves the bard with the puppet Lord
That admires the fighter with the green-hilted sword,
That employs the Wizard, whose bird is ignored,
That has the gender unexplored
That intrigues the Halfling, usually bored,
That slew a mountain of the goblin horde,
That follows the cleric,
That serves the lich,
That seeks the gate,
That guards the snarl,
That lives in the prison the gods built.

Re: Goodbye, So Long, Farewell II
Well, I doubt that anyone would notice my absence, but I'm clearing out for the moment. I don't think I can stand chewing over the old conversations until the middle of November, since the Giant's hors de combat. And, I'm leaving the U.S. for at least 3 months come November, heading for Kazakhstan, where I won't have much Internet access, and what I have will be used for business.
So, this is probably my last post for 5 to 6 months, and if I end up having business in Kiev, it might be 8 to 9 months before I return. See you in a while, folks -- enjoy, and have a great talk on here!Spoiler

Salvete Playgrounders!
Well, my semester at the seminary isn't done yet, but it might as well be because I'm so close to the end. Also, I'm bored out of my mind right now, so I needed a change of pace. It's good to see you all again!Avatar by Serpentine.

Re: Goodbye, So Long, Farewell II
I've skulked back in sooner than expected, because I managed to get a decent Internet connection here in Kazakhstan.

Re: Goodbye, So Long, Farewell II
Wait... What? You're in Kazakhstan?
You know... I've always known it was a real place, but for some reason, deep inside my brain there's a part of me that keeps thinking there's no way Kazakhstan is a place. The same goes with Azerbaijan.
Well, best of luck with being in Kazakhstan.Mauve Shirt, Savannah, Gnomish Wanderer, Cuthalion and Smuchmuch get cookies for making me avatars. (::)

Re: Goodbye, So Long, Farewell II
Yes, it's a real place . I've been here six or seven times now, I believe. I can't say that it's the most scenic area of the world I've ever been to; the Internet certainly isn't great; and you're well advised to use a water filter for drinking water.
But, it's not so bad as a place to visit, as long as you avoid the summer (which is lethally hot). Of course, I may be biased since my wife's relatives live here, so there's some hospitality on offer when we're in the vicinity.Spoiler

Re: Goodbye, So Long, Farewell II
I think I'm done here. To all the people here who I respect, like, and/or admire, bye. To those few who have any idea who I even am, bye.
I would really like to see a game made by Obryn, Kurald Galain, and Knaight from these forums.

Re: Goodbye, So Long, Farewell II
It's not as if I post much anymore so posting here is hardly necessary, but the drama queen in me demands it.
I've made a lot of friends on GitP, but that was years ago, none of you keep in touch anymore, and I don't want to be constantly reminded of friendships I no longer have.
I'll be back when and if I feel up to it.
I love you guys. Please keep in touch.Avatar by Kris on a Stick
