Sam heads to the range and starts practicing with both guns, using custom armor piercing rounds against armored targets. The handgun will only penetrate ~2mm of standard armor, but the rifle can penetrate 10mm of armor from over 300 metres away. Probably not enough to punch a hole through Pesty's best armor, but Sam is willing to bet 3,500+ joules of energy slamming into one's head can distract a goddess.
