Ahah! Well, given that you were indeed behind them, it's possible you get an opportune whack at the rogue that fled. Though on the other hand, they probably have tumble.

Sorry for the two day delay....WEIRD week in the American Banking world!
But we're back on the game now, roll20 is updated and it's either abdiel or feather's go.

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
A very weird banking week indeed! Hope you're not in the crosshairs for this one, Molan.
I beleive Kate just spend a normal action last turn teleporting, so Feather should be up.

Alrighty. Sorry everyone I've been a crappy DM the last couple of weeks with these 3+ day long lags. I really ought to have been able to knock that out so I'm sorry for the wait. That being said, you've almost cleared the enemy party, but you have, as they say in the biz, a runner.
Roll20 is updated with everyone's LOS and positions. Nightwing is closest to the fleeing character. Jbe's turn is up.

Kate was technically too far away to charge her and had obstacles but, given the flow of things and some other extenuating circumstances (plus what a dope charge!) I decided to give it to her. Sofia's not out yet though.
Damien's up.

Posted. Couldn’t attack this turn so ran around in front of her and demanded surrender. No intimidate to offer but the circumstance is pretty threatening. I’m hoping she gives up.. or maybe chugs an invis potion planning to escape next turn, not knowing we can see her!

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
Hey friends, just checking in to apologize for my slow responses and to say I'll be back on them soon - which means in the next couple of days.
Mixed in with the normal battery of excuses - "had to work", "was really tired" etc, is a more troublesome, if non-critical medical one. I have a disc in my neck that slips a little a couple of times a year when I sleep on it wrong and for the next few days I'm just managing it with painkillers until it sorts itself out. It's not a huge deal but it makes it hard to sit down and bang out words on a keyboard for a long duration.
I'm not far away and I won't be 'gone' long, but I do apologize.Damien Wayne in Molan's Batman {D&D3.5e}

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
Well, let's pow-wow OOC for a moment.
Options:
1. Walk up the stairs, enduring their prepared attacks and spells, and engage directly; relying on Kate's dimension door to jump us out if things get too hairy.
2. Rely on Kate's dimension door to jump us in to avoid those prepared attacks and get the drop on them, but do so without any convenient way to escape.
3. Attempt to lure the remaining defenders into a cluster with illusions and then probably liquidate them with Oracle's ace-in-the-hole; maybe more lethal than (most of us) want to be if we can help it.
4. Send in Damien solo to try to snatch the gem and ghost out through the wall without neutralizing the ambush party at all.
We could also try chugging these invis potions and sneaking in, but I'ma guess atleast one of them has see-invis up.
Now that Oracle's scrying eyes have revealed much of the scenario for us, I'm inclined to try to send Damien in solo; and if things go bad, the rest of the party can bust in with Damien's discovery working as a 'distraction' to soften their ambush. Thoughts?Damien Wayne in Molan's Batman {D&D3.5e}

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
Cool. With that said, we have like... 12-15 unconscious people we need to get out of here, up through the sewers, into custody of the Justicars. Anyone got a good thought to streamline that besides Kate sending a brain-message? Or perhaps dispatching Julius, for a slower solution?

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
You don't have to do the map if you don't want to, depending on your estimation for if it will DEFINATELY be a brawl or not. If Damien is slick enough we won't need it, and I'd hate to force the effort. Feel free to just demand some rolls and such to see how necessary it is.

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
Mmmmm, bit too slim there. You mark one item as clearly being a ring of protection, but can't nail down the strength (although do you have scan eyes active?).
You find twoidentify scrolls in the arcane scroll case, along with a scroll for a level 7 fireball, base level cloudkill, and teleport .
The rest of it unfortunately remains a mystery.

Re: 3.5e Batman Campaign (2.0) [2nd Thread]
Great, okay. I see the map. And from Oracle's scrying, they're loosely watching those stairs, with a halfling goalie back with the prize wherever it is. The stage, I understand, is the one in the corner where there is no bar.
Okay. Well, I can make it to where I need to go within 60 ft, but I'll have young Damo drop both an invisibility potion and Expeditious retreat potion, so he has a base movement of 50ft, which means with a double move he'll have plenty of free movement to orient himself and get where he needs to go with his own vision instead of just the description. That staircase on the bar map is the same one at the corridor's end, right?That's the map junction? If so, I'm good to go, and will post.Damien Wayne in Molan's Batman {D&D3.5e}
