Nah, I think it's been a day or two. Possibly even as much as almost three.
So plenty of time for them to get close.

Three days to traverse like six rooms? I thought goblins had at least a 35ft movement speed.

It doesn't feel like it has been much time in-universe.

On this page they first encounter Plush, and Thaco helpfully says "We're out of magic until next morning":
Then they do the watch room which takes a few minutes, the hallway of doors which takes "an hour", flower room and fighting tentacle monster (another hour at most?) -- and then they open the portal.

I don't think there was a night or long break inbetween, so it should still be the same day they met Plush.

Huh. It's been so long I thought they spend more time there*.
I was actually convinced they rested at some point after the living plushie got his body back.
Probably was thinking about them playing with the flowers.

*To phrase it a bit unfair, the comic's speed could be called glacial, if it sped up a bit.

Whatever Ellipsis' failings as a writer, she's not going to simply discard a plot thread.

I am a little surprised that the goblins were able to bring Biscuit with them, I thought her grimdark "too many healing potions at once disintegrates your limbs" thing was going to be more fatal than that.

Edited to add: Also irked at the "schwillion" nomenclature. When Minmax said it, I thought it was about his particular form of stupidity, but now it's seeming like no, just randomly saying "schwillion" for an unspecified large number is a thing people in the comic do.

I agree on the scwillion, though I thought Complains used it too. There's also "sonovacrap."

What was that about potions? I know Biscuit wondered aloud at side effects, but that was mostly to set up the joke of pulling a feather from his leg/butt in the last panel. With next panel him realizing he's sitting on Duv.

Forgath died to stop one rogue Klik. They've got another psychotic one running around. It consumed blood from Dies, but I guess can do it from anyone. If it's only Dies, the danger to the realm is limited.

Pretty sure it was already shown that it can drink any kind of blood. It killed the new characters of the drow trio and grew as it consumed each one (start of book 6).

Rereading those pages, I think it's noteworthy that it takes a skeletal, almost beastly or humanoid form and not just "klik, but bigger" like the last one. It feels more intelligent than other kliks. We'll see.
