"Nah, I was just working all day, until we all went out to see the commotion." Thorin replies to your questioning. Grush, however, saw a bit more, but is just as unhelpful. "Was just teaching kidlets how to use shields good and proper, when the purple cart came flying down, and nearly knocked me over! But I ended up fine, not hurt, and neither were kids. Cart had arrows all stuck in, and the horses were scared. So I calm the horses down, and take them to the stable, and other help the dwarf out." Trane can't think about any real problems that could've befallen the Dwarf. Well, it's obvious he was attacked, but nothing specific comes to mind.

Amy's head pops around the corner. "Ah, the Gnomish healer. He's just woken up, but is still in bed. You can see him if you like." she says. "I've got a few things to do, but if he needs anything, just call out."

The hulking Lizardfolk spends the day trying to be helpful by fixing up the damaged cart, replacing damaged wheels, pulling out arrows, etc.

Assisting you in your work is Halden, the townships watchman, and also Louis. The pair of them chat with you, wondering who would've attacked a lone dwarf like that, and how he managed to escape. From passerbies, it seems that is the talk of the whole township.

Skissen

The pixie wanders around listening in on conversations, but asking nothing, until he gets bored.
He wanders through town looking for an empty looking house with laundry drying outside. If he finds one, he sneaks into the yard and quickly turns all the clothing inside out if he can, then puts it back. Otherwise, Skissen goes and finds Boshi, then sketches him from a distance.

Seeing Garl head inside, Skissen follows him inside, placing his weapons on the doorstep as well.

Kerris wanders around the edge of town, keeping an eye out for any signs of the attackers returning.

slowly approaching the resting dwarf, he lets him look round to see his visitor, not wanting to startle him

"how are you feeling? You came in looking like you'd had a bit of a disagreement with a company of archers?"

After popping around the back of Thorin's, and turning all his gear inside out, you quickly wander towards the temple. Sitting on the window sill, you see Garl chatting with the injured dwarf.

You are not alone. It seems that a few other villagers have positioned themselves around to keep an eye out. However, the only thing you can see is the tracks from the cart leading away.

Still looking fairly weak, the dwarf manages to prop himself up against the pillow. He now has a bandage covering the wound on the side of his head. "I'm...feeling a lot better now. And...a disagreement? I suppose you could call it that." he grimaces, and seems to be wavering slightly in his seat. "I-I-....there were five or six of them...they...they took the others. Jim..and Ima...they managed to drag them off the cart...I...I panicked. I left them." after a few moments silence, where the dwarf avoids looking at you in the eye, he speaks again. "Please leave. I would be alone."

Still determined to find and capture the attacker(s), Trane heads to the spot where the cart was found and takes a look around.
