Well, since my manuevers are resetting at the end of this turn, I may as well make use of them. Charge attack, this time using Vanguard's Strike. Allies get +4 are melee and ranged attack rolls until my next action if it hits.

that's right, which doesn't even give me a chace to drink the potion, as I am dying from that point on. I do believe that's match, and a very stupid mistake of me at that.

Of course, that raises the rules question of who's inventory the potion is in, since you looted your teammate's corpse.
