The presence of magic is very powerful. It's difficult to locate though. It seems to be from below, under the hill/island.

Halbreck is amazed by the place. He take a lot of time to check everything, taking some notes. You easyly can see his passion, which is a huge change from his usually serious attitude.
So this is a tomb. It's amazing. Look like you can put something on the sphere, that might give us access to the tomb. So magic comes from below, I guess magic might be what will transport us there.

Halbreck try to recall everything he might have read or learned about Camazotz and the tomb of Paimon. Anything that can help us (or give a clue) to access the tomb (maybe some offering we have to do on the sphere - my first guess would be blood, but I dont know).
