When Michele entered the training room, Chris was apparently testing some sort of dervish maneuver. It looked like he was trying to carry the momentum of his swings to keep hitting the target over and over again.

Whatever it was, it fails spectacularly, causing Chris to fall flat on his back. After a second, he looks up at Michele from the ground. "Oh, hey there." He jumps back up on his feet and turns to her.

Michele reaches him a hand "...have you ever tried combining your timing with magic?"

Chris sits down. He looks curious, waiting for what's going to happen next.

Chris breaths deeply. "Magic-wise, my ability in magic is mental. The way it works is a combination of visualizing associations of the desired result, letters from an ancient language, and occasionally magic circles and other forms of geometry. That, and occasionally body movements, often arm or hand gestures. I have the potential to be better, but I have a bit of a block. I can't visualize the desired outcome as well as I have to in order to produce anything. So, what I can do is often minor at best."

"As for other powers...you might say I'm too good at deception. I can bluff my way to get what I want, I can sneak around to where I want, I can do reconassaince, I can even disguise myself and take on another persona. I can take advantage of openings my opponents give me. I'm good with a sword and guns, as well as several other martial weapons. Thanks to an enchantment on me, I'm faster, stronger, and tougher than an average man, but not by that much. I'm a reasonably smart guy, so I can learn."

"Anything else?"

Chris looks at the sheet of paper. He starts to think of heat, the crackle of the flames, a word in an ancient alphabet spelling out "fire" scans over the sheet of paper. Chris then snaps his fingers, imagining a spark coming from his fingers at the same time as he holds the vision in his mind. For a moment, a spark of a flame shows up at the end of his fingers, clipping the corner of the paper with flame.

He then holds up the paper. Slowly, it starts to be consumed by fire from the corner.

Meidani smiles. "I hope you two are happy together..."

summer smiles "thank you..." she sits on her lap, still purring

Chris tries to put it out with magic. A breeze, a feeling of wind, a word, a wave of his hand. However, all it does is move the flame a tad. Chris then looks at it. He then focuses on it. He sees it dying down, leaving behind only a burnt piece of paper. He sees the embers fade out of existence. Chris then just about realizes it in his mind, waving his hand over the flames.

It didn't put it out. However, he managed to move more air than before. The flames crouch to get away from the breeze, however when the breeze is gone they stand right back up.
