Heh. This came to me, so I had to share.
You want to post now, but your words to short for what you had to say
You have to hide in white some words that were meaningless anyway,
You try to scream but no one hears the sounds your making through your PC
You look at your screen, because you posted your message with a hidden suprise,
You're compromised
'Cause this is filler, filler white
And no one's gonna save you from the posts about to strike
You know it's filler, filler white
You're posting for the rules inside a killer, filler in whiiite
Yeah, ooh..
You highlight the whole thread and realize there's words between the lines
You feel the deep dread and wonder if you'll missed some words sometimes
You close your eyes and hope that this is just imagination, girl
But all the while you spot a message that not spoilered but on your mind
You found out this time
'Cause this is filler, filler white
There ain't no second chance to spot the words that ain't right, girl
Filler, (Wooohooo) filler white
You're posting for the rules inside a killer, filler in whiiite
Funny jokes fall,
And the shifty start to walk in their masquerade
There's no escapin' it all of the text made this time (they're quoted wide)
This is the end of being blind
They're out to get you, there's hidden words coming in on every side
They will possess you unless you quote that poster and highlight the fail,
Now is the time for you and I to cuddle close together, yeah
All thru the night I'll save you from the terror on the screen,
I'll make you see
That this is filler, filler white
Girl, you can spot them in any post that would dare to try
Filler, (Wooohooo) filler white
So let me hold you tight and share a filler, filler, filler,
Filler here in white
'Cause this is filler, filler white
There ain't no second chance to spot the words that ain't right,
Filler, (Wooohooo) filler white
So watch our for the white and text a filler, filler
Aaooow

You can't be a true Briton without being incredibly annoying and nationalistic! Interestingly, though, I don't get patriotic about anything but the pound... The Queen's been assassinated? "Oh well"... The Union Flag's being desecrated? Meh... Someone wants to change the arbitary unit we use to purchase things in order to make international travel just a smidge easier? KILL THE HERETIC!
Now I put it like that though, it seems silly.BANG → !

IMO - the Euro is only set to make Europe like the United States. One common currency to make things easier. So like the US, Europe also has to have that 1 "state" that holds out on changing the money.
For Europe it's Britain.
For us it's Canada.
I kid, I kid! Canada isn't the 51st state. Yet.
Plus, being a MN, I'm rather found of currency called the Looney. It's our state bird.
Thanks Dragonprime and V'icternus.

We're having spare ribs for dinner at home tonight, and I haven't had meat in over two weeks... I think I'm in heaven...

OH. MY. GOD. GET THIS WOMAN A DAMN BURGER! STAT!
How can you go that long sans meat and not be a vegetarian?! Man, I think I'd melt if I didn't consume meat for that long.... Hell, most of my budget is dedicated to eating good food, and that includes meat (I prefer chicken, ground beef, ground turkey, and many varieties of sausage).

First, try going to our cafeteria. Very rarely is there a decent dish that involves meat. Second, I was sick all of last week and going into the beginning of this week. The sickness was likely IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). This means that my main concern was getting enough fiber, and eating foods that wouldn't upset my stomach.

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
Agreed, but I can empathise with his delight. My wife (aka Tink) has been on a diet for the last 8 weeks (and lost 25lbs, but I digress) which means I'm also on a diet of sorts. So her diet limits her on kinds of meat - of which pig is completely off the menu. So I havn't had a serving of bacon in some time. Wed night however, I was out for dinner with friends (sans Tink) and was able to aquire some Mac N Cheese with sausage, ham and bacon in it. It was delicious!
Eat your ribs slowly Draco.

@supagoof: Don't worry, I plan to.
Some good did come out of that week of hell, though. I lost over 10 pounds of weight. My weight was 181 when I was at the doctor today. That's not bad for someone who is 5' 10" tall.

Whoa! I could send you some of my clothes Draco. I'm same height and similar weight. I was 185, but like I mentioned before with the wife's diet. I'm down to 173.

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
Nah, I'm good. Some of my jeans are a bit baggier now, but not drastically so. I just hope I can either lose a bit more or at the very least keep myself at this weight. The size of my portions at meals are smaller now, which is good. Last year I would eat a lot. I certainly ended up getting the Freshman Fifteen last year.

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
So I jumped the gun and set it up a little early (10 posts too early), but I'm leaving for the day and didn't want to miss my change to post one of the Random Banters.
New thread here. (Feel obliged to push this on to page 50 though!)

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
So... apparently one of my friends can't remember the address for fandango.com to get movie tickets and such.
So when I passed out after school he forgot completely how to look up movie times without a newspaper or something. *facepalm* And we were supposed to try to coordinate something with another friend.

Re: KataraAltinaII's Premature Not So Short & To-The-Point Random Banter #130
I don't get how people forget how to use a newspaper for this sort of thing. I was talking to a friend on the phone the other day, and I was checking the movie schedule... I said "so there's this one, this one, and this one, at 5, 6 and 7."
His answer: "Hmmm.... OK, click on that one and tell me the synopsis, please."
".....dude? I'm using a newspaper...."

He couldn't just grab a paper?
Or Google "Movie times [movie] [city]"?

He's a CS major and he didn't think of Google?
Google's where I got half my code when I was in that path.
