If you are not a member, then when your character arrives, you will be outside the front door and must roleplay getting entry, but bear in mind that whenever your character enters GLoG, alignment scanners will try to detect his/her current intention's alignment (so even the most evil of people might come off as good, if they think they are. Some areas of the base are DNA locked and alignment locked so that only members with no evil intent can enter unescorted. These include the Security Room, the Armoury, the Detention Wing, and the Artifact Vault.

Artifact Vault - Set next to the Armory, this is where GLoG's major artifacts are stored. The door is DNA locked to members only.

The Brightheart
The Brightheart is a plain orb, set upon a stone plinth labeled 'The Brightheart'. Also on the plinth is a note that says:
'Do Not Remove. Ever. No, not even then. (But maybe then.)'
The Brightheart itself glows with inner light, and throws up a positive energy blanket of moderate strength (heals most surface wounds, and makes undead sick) a few meters in radius. Touching the Brightheart results in having a large amount of positive energy run through you (heals all wounds, and drives undead to near death). Inside the plinth itself is a gate to the Negative Energy realm, which draws off the excess positive energy from the Brightheart. Should the Brightheart be removed, and taken away from the base without the necessary preparations being made, two Very Bad Things^TM will happen.
A) The Brightheart's positive energy will not be siphoned off, and so it will be returned to full strength, throwing up a powerful positive energy blanket about a kilometer in radius, and killing anyone who touches it, living or no, through sheer positive energy overdose.
B) The gate to the Negative Energy realm will become unstable and tear, creating a giant Negative Energy rift in the middle of GLoG.

The portal between GLoG and HALO is still open, providing instantaneous transportation between the two organisations.
But anyone passing through it arrives outside the front door. If they've already been cleared (previously interacted with GLoG without hostilities), they can walk straight in without having to roleplay out knocking on the door and so on.
There is also a smaller portal operating between GLoG and Farthing Cottage

First time visitors, or people who have previously caused trouble have to wait for someone to undeadtime to decide whether they can enter the building (GLoG), or not, unfortunately. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Shania just turns her head toward Butler. Yes. I'm all better now. But maybe you should give something to Quinn, to ease her mind.

Butler looks relieved and nods. "I'm glad ma'am." Yay! Everything is probably going to be ok!

He'll go to give Quinn the aspirin instead, but pause. "Wait... are babies affected by medicine ma'am?" It might be dangerous. A rare insight on Butler's part, but he has heard of that before, so is uncertain about giving Quinn anything.

Not that I've ever heard before. Shania says with certainty. I believe they love aspirin. Shania grins, wickedly.

Actually I think they do sometime react badly. I think that we should wait till Quinn wakes up normally. Maybe put some ice on her head where she hit it. Astrid speaks up frowning at Shania.

[Reinholdt]

Well... it's only aspirin. He'd probably resist more if it was sedatives or something big and restricted like that. This is the over the counter stuff, it's got to be safe for babies!

"They like it ma'am? I always thought it was icky ma'am."

He shrugs and goes to feed unconscious Quinn 800 mg of the stuff. Cause getting hit in the head with a wall hurts a lot and we need to get that brain to slow down and stop firing those pain receptors, right?

Accursed ninjas. Not changing all that now. But Butler will get ice for Quinn's head in addition to whatever he's already done. Of course, Astrid could always grab his arm and say no when he tries to feed the pills.

Who are you!? Shania glares at Astrid.

[Reinholdt]

But Daisuke wasn't even there and has no idea what's going on! *flails wildly*
*gives Astrid the chance to do it instead*

Daisuke walks in. What's happening?

Well Astrid doesn't grab him. And she blinks as she is yelled at by Shania. I'm Astrid. Who are you?

[Reinholdt]

Well then whether Quinn gets medicated is up to Bushranger.

"Quinn ran into the wall after making Shania better and got knocked out."

What... did you just give her?

It's none of your business. Shania snears at Astrid. Now leave us alone. We are handling things just fine.

[Reinholdt]

"Medicine to make sure she's not in pain sir." Or possibly nothing. Depends on BR of course.

He goes to get ice for Quinn's head and holds it there for her.

A med drone approaches.

Reply: Mr Butler B. Butler offered the patient the equivalent of 2 aspirin tablets.
Advisory: While some studies recommend against taking aspirin during pregnancy, others have shown it reduces the risk of a dangerous pregnancy complication known as pre-eclampsia.
Conclusion: A single dose is unlikely to have any effect on the pregnancy one way or the other.

What could Daisuke sense about Shania?

Yes, I'd like... No, I wouldn't!

According to the drone it may be more safe to give her even more to reduce chances of complications. Your better safe than sorry route is non-existent!

Butler wasn't going to give her more anyways, and just nods, holding the ice there.

He has the ability to sense souls. He tries to sense whatever about her.

He also hears the two voices, and frowns.

Well, Daisuke senses that there are two souls within Shania. One is malevolent, and the other is kind. Both are strong presences, but one is more meak and submissive.

He positions himself between her and Quinn.

Can I ask why you have two souls inside you?

[Reinholdt]

"How did she get any inside her sir? Did she swallow them sir? Does she need surgery sir?"
Because soul sounds like bowl and it's clear now that Shania has kitchen utensils inside her.

Daisuke ignores Butler's chatter. He's fully focused on the person in front of him.

And a swan waddles into the infirmary and nuzzles against Butler's legs.

Good cause Daisuke is being mean. Everyone ignores Butler until he starts handing out aspirin. Sheesh.

He reaches down to pick up the swan and cuddle it.

Because clearly aspirin is a far greater threat to Quinn's pregnancy than all the risks she takes as a PC.

The swan is picked up! And snuggled! And snuggles back!

"Whatcha doin, Butler?"

[Reinholdt]

"Oh, I'm just taking care of some hurt people ma'am. Cause the doctor got hurt too ma'am." He's sort of the fallback doctor of GLoG when Quinn isn't available.

He gently scritches under Decker's beak, getting her long swan neck with pettings.

Get away from me, you ignorant man. You know nothing of what you talk about. Daisuke may feel something trying to push him away.

He... doesn't move.

Really? Souls happen to be my speciality.

Stop trying to push me away, it won't work.

I asked you a question. Why do you have two souls inside you?

"Mean hurt people, from what it sounds like," Decker says, stretching her neck up to get scritches.

[Reinholdt]

Well... maybe Quinn, but he doesn't think Shania is mean, probably cause he doesn't know what ignorant means. And Daisuke isn't hurt, even if he's mean right now.

"Not particularly ma'am. But either way, I should help them ma'am." Long neck scritches.
