Grue Bait's been on my list for a while now and he's as good a lynch target as any at this point.

TigerFang is the last mason, seems simple enough.

We need a clear distinction on that. I am the last original mason. But other masons have joined since... just as I am sure there are other wolves besides the originals.

For obvious reasons, I will not say how many other masons exist, or who they are. But you good folk should know they exist should one of them be forced to do a desperate claim like I did recently.

Well, I wanted to know your role and the other four times my scry came back: No scry!

There is a 10% fail chance in my role and it seems that I had an incredible luck. And of course there was a voider and scry interference and so forth.

I understand people have found me suspicious, on account of being too quiet. I get told the same thing when I play Werewolf irl...

Anyway, the reason I've been quiet is that I haven't felt I had anything to add to discussion. I'm fairly new to the game and not great at this sort of analysis anyway.

I'm town and I can make a testable role claim, but I'd rather avoid doing so unless I'm forced to do so...

Seems fair enough, for now. I looked at the wins list rather than the original town list, and you got added to my list of suspicions unfairly. >_<

So, I'm gonna come out and say it. I'm a Neutral. The Monk of the narrations, and responsible for the night no one died. Having completed my wincon the prior night, I was hoping to avoid a last second death by saying they were going to kill me and therefore having them not, which worked out, I'm out of all win conditions. Except staying alive.

I won't use my powers at all, so you needn't worry about me interfering in anything, either side that is.

So, glad to do business and I'll stick my nose out of proceedings as much as possible. Oh, and I wouldn't mind being Mayor either. Bladescape.

Also, for those campaigning for Planswalker, remember that at the time he lead on Ramsus he was a clueless newcomer. As in, he didn't even know his side. His actions yesterday have nothing to do with his alignment.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot. Sorry Grue Bait, but I dun wanna autolynch. :)

Day 10

The day begins with accusations. People call out originals, asking for explanations. "I'm a Seer of some sort. I've just been really bad." "I told you already. I'm the next face for the Society. Call me a Member or something." And lastly, "I'm actually pretty Confused. I thought I was the Fool from bad scries, but he just died. So I've just been a horrible Seer or something." Arguing continues...

Meanwhile, Mayor is still reviewing notes on village. By now, has gotten to notes on Society: "The Secret Society was created by Aubrey Lindon, original Mayor of this village. He had some big plans and left it to the appointed head to get people together and organize everything while keeping most of them in the dark. What they were originally created to do is not recorded, but they currently meet and work to get rid of the Advisor's influence in town."

Back to Mob, they've come to decision. "Confused just sounds suspicious! You should know who you are and tell us! All others are against us! We seek the truth!" Confused responds, "I can't tell you much, but that Eternis guy sounds suspicious too. He's not actually eternal, you see." "Don't throw the wool over our eyes! We want the truth!" And so Grue Bait is taken to gallows and hung, with last of original Sympathizers dead. Town rejoices but realizes not all over... On to night where hopefully none die.

Due to popular demand (and lack of an opponent), there is now a Mayor role. Vote everyday for it! Candidate was elected Mayor today, but that role is flexible: anyone can take it, and who has it can change from day to day. What it does, find out for yourselves. Candidates for Mayor role should send in one title (bold in narrations) or topic they would like to learn more about.

Remember individual game. Players get wins simply for surviving. Is it in best interest to keep Originals so long, even village?

*C'nor can reclaim role by end of Day 11. If so, returns as Newcomer #51 again, NOT as Clueless Newcomer. On Day 11 onward, can choose new role. After Day 11 ends, role #51 revealed if not reclaimed by then. This will be standard practice for autolynch, in case miss away notices etc.*

The man with the big iron on his hip wasn't sure what to think. This wasn't really his town, but he would need to stay here until that librarian's family came to reclaim her things. Apparently, the last of the Advisor's original minions was hunted down today. That was good for the town. Should help things calm down. He waits in his brother's old house for now, not yet ready to sleep for the night.

Dark had fallen, and the lights of the town cast shadows across the entrance gate. The soft hoof beats of a cantering horse could be heard on the wind as the women rode into town. Her dark hair was braided for swift riding, her cloak settled about her shoulders, swaying loosely as she slowed the animal was practiced ease. She came to a stop as she entered the town square and fluidly dismounted. A glance around the town square, she did not see anyone out of their homes, though there were several figures watching from windows, there distrust evident. One or two may have peered from alleyways, but like their sheltered counterparts, she paid them no mind.

A moment later, the women walked confidently through the square and down the street, sword hanging from one hip, a gun from the other. She paused outside of a house – the dead book trader’s and, prior the Face of the Masons. A tiny confirmatory nod of her head, and she strode boldly up to the door and knocked without hesitation. She stepped back as she waited, she hands dropped loosely near her weapon grips, her back straight but not stiff. She waited for the door to open.

The stranger with the big iron watched carefully as the new woman entered town. By her looks, he assumes that she is the family he heard tell of. When she picks out this house to knock at, he was sure.

He opens the door and bows. "Howdy there, ma'am. You'd be that librarian's family I heard tell of, wouldn't ya?"

“Evening. Yes, I am Kal’s sister. I take it you are the late Mason’s brother?” At the man’s nod, she steps forward and into the house. “Well then, it looks like we shall be sharing a roof for a bit.” She enters and takes off her cloak. She smirked slightly, and turned to face him. “I would like some details… and a drink would not go amiss either…”

"Aye, my brother kept some wine in his cellar. Rather nice stuff too. I'll go git some."

He returns in a few minutes with a rich red wine and two wineglasses.

"Well, the short version is that my brother ran off from the family years ago to join some secret society in this cursed town. Two weeks ago or so, the town went made when the adviser killed the mayor after he opened the gates. Since then, there's been a shadow war goin' on every night and people are gettin' lynched in the streets by day. My brother stepped up in this time of chaos to be the voice of the Masons, a that society I talked about. Anyway, he lead the village and got several of the traitors killed, and met yer sister about a week ago. She came in to trade in books. Anyways, she got caught up in the chaos and was ferretin' out the traitors. When the traitors got wise and offed my brother, he left the house to yer sister, and I don't rightly know why. Well, the night I got ta' town to collect some of my brother's things that rightly belonged to the family, yer sister got killed too. Ramsus, the dirty scum, was behind it and I hunted him down and got the village to see him for the beast he was. Today we killed the last of the traitors responsible for this madness."

"Anyway, I'll be headin' out in the mornin. Got the family heirlooms packed and my vengeance is done. Yer family can have the house. It don't mean nothin to us and James did leave it to yer sister before she died."

He offers her a glass of wine. "Pleasure ta meet ya, ma'am."

[Penguinator]

The Nighthunter shook his head. Everyone he had spoken to, sans the drunken man, had died. He didn't know where to turn, it was shown that the drunken man was of no help. Rather like himself, really. Of no help.

He struck outside of the town for a while, cigar hanging from the side of his mouth. He didn't know where the bodies were. He didn't much care. He dug a hole. He sat there a moment, touching the symbol around his neck and mumbling a prayer he had heard years ago. He couldn't remember half the words, and he didn't know what any of it meant, but it was all he had. He had worn the Face Man's cloak for the last few days, underneath his own. He had taken a book from the library, one that was beaten up, one with half the pages missing. It would not be missed. What it symbolized would be. He had one last thing, an old pocketknife. How it meant anything was odd, but he felt it was something. He dropped them into the hole, then refilled it. He patted the dirt down, and shoved a stone near it. He took his own knife, and carved something into it, then tapped at the edges with his cigar, giving it an antique look, or so he thought. He stayed there for a moment, then leaned on a tree nearby. He sang, a gruff, tired voice. But it was all he had.

"And when you're gone, I'll see you off,
And though all others may peer and scoff,
I know you're here, I know you're dear,
I know you'll never have to fear.

You won't be forgotten, my dearest friend,
When you meet with your life's end.
For though the time we knew was small,
You meant more than all of all."

He wiped at his eye, shaking his head. Rain. It had begun to rain. It seemed fitting. He wrapped his vest around him more tightly, and slumped down, cigar still tight in his lips. It would be a long night.

The woman watched her companion as she listened closely to his explanation. “I understand. First off, thank you for taking care of Ramsus. It’s one less thing I have to deal with. I know she had been trying to figure out who had been working with him and the Mage, though I would need to find her notes to see exactly how far she had gotten before he killed her.”

She took the glass and sipped. “Thank you – this is very good.” She took another sip and set the glass on the table, peering into the liquid as she swirled the stem of the glass gently. “As for why he left her the house, it is possible that he had information that might help her any whoever else would be working on finding the traitors, but hid it here. That’s what I would do. Knowing my sister, she would have been methodically searching the rooms to be sure. Actually, I know she was at one point.”

She removed her hand from the glass and looked back up. “On the other hand, he could also have just been thinking she needed someplace other than a public inn to continue the work. Or he could have thought that you wouldn’t want the place. No way to know, really.”

“Honestly, you are welcome to stay as long as you like. I will likely be completing Kal’s last requests for a bit,” she said, a slight grimace at the end. “I will need to track down Nighthunter and Naera, to start with. Then… well, I know what she would have wanted…”

"I thank ya for the hospitality. I've already stayed longer than I'd have liked. Unless the murders continue now that all the traitors are gone, I plan on leavin' in the mornin'. Though I guess there ain't no rush to leavin' right away."
