New villian comes along? Tarquin will kick his ass or simply outclass it. And even if Tarquin loses, he still wins. In fact, even if Tarquin leaves the story, he's still in the story!

It's just one of the things you have to deal with when it comes to webcomics. Or any other serialized story, but it's more prevalent with webcomics since they're self-published. Delays happen, and you just have to live with it.

Also, nice to see Haley taking a page out of Hawkeye's playbook.

Well, I think Vaarsuvius would be a better 3CPO. They are both very very long-winded... and considering how much V has been conveniently missing every time the party REALLY needs him, he's just about as useless.

So who will take over Admiral Ackbar? I think Driz'zt. Just love how we'd go from IT'S A TRAP!! to trap.

Now R2D2... flying kobold? (forgot his name)

Oh and there's also Obi Wan...

Ok, replace Malack with the IFCC. Perfect.

Hmm... Lando can be Sabine. V can be Ben Kenobi.

EDIT: The person above me is right, I was wrong, V can be C3PO. And let's make Durkon R2D2, and Chewbacca can be Mr. Scruffy.

Either way, it's kind of pathetic to spend your time clicking refresh for three weeks straight. Don't you have better things to do? If you don't that's your problem not really the comics.

To be fair, the person who said that said absolutely nothing about this bizarre scenario that you've made up for them, and flung at them in a rather accusatory manner, IMO.

They merely stated that a three week wait is not really compensated for by getting a comic that's read in a few seconds, and declared their intention to not check for about a year so that there's a decent amount of stuff to read.

I'm considering doing something similar myself. Actually, the only reason I come to the site any more is to banter around on the forums a bit. The comic has become a very distant second to a bit of interaction with fellow geeks.

However, since the topics aren't really "grabbing" me lately, I might buzz off for a hiatus myself. Who knows.

Of course it being Scalenex who said he was going to back off for a while, and Lio45 who mentioned clicking and refreshing I still don't see calling someone pathetic as appropriate. Not that you did that mind, just saying.

And Twitter I think is a purely evil thing that has little to no value and may indeed be the cause of the downfall of western civilisation
(More realistically, I never saw the point of it)

And Malack as the Emperor? Really? Is there anyone not called Xykon who would be suited for that role? The man even has lightning powers for goodness sake. If we need to do some shoehorning of people into roles that is.

And remember in the EU Lukes eventual love interest Mara Jade was a redhead with a penchant for rougeish smuggling and the like

I suppose, but since that interpretation would lead to the conclusion that an arrow being used as an improvised weapon would deal damage of no type at all, and thereby render moot the original topic under discussion, I think we can discount it as a possibility.

I mean, would a bow being used as an improvised melee weapon deal piercing damage? I don't think so. I would assume it would deal bludgeoning damage, similar to a quarterstaff or something.

Seriously, though, it doesn't make sense to me that an arrow could function as an improvised slashing weapon. It just doesn't have a sufficiently long cutting edge.

there are so many things in the rules that make so much less sense though

its like saying a small dagger is too tiny to be used as a slashing weapon, or cats claws are too small to be used as a slashing weapon its not the size of the blade that counts its how you use it
