That's actually my fault. I mentioned that my friend and I have made plans to go shoe shopping, and it all snowballed from there.

You might be able to find some large, wide ones. Try really large stores, like warehouse type places, that might have a few pairs of shoes in large sizes, preferably in wide too. You can always try online as well; look at shoes you like in the store and mark them down and see if the store has an online vendor that would offer them in larger sizes.

My dad is a THIRTEEN uk size. He needs to get shoes on the internet.
I'm 12, 12.5 iirc. They carry my size JUST. In male shoes. As long as they don't get an inch larger.

Internet! Big footed women (a terrible term, especially given the number of women I've seen who cram their feet into teeny tiny shoes for fear of having "big feet" ) are much less a minority that one would expect. I presume that they are just less of a shoe market, since being tol they have no feet makes them feel bad and precludes buying an assortment of shoes.

Alternately, get them custom made. I saw a neat bra recently that's convinced me I need to learn how to sew and tailor. It will guarantee I have the clothes I want in a size that fits.

Custom made might be a bit expensive. I'm not exactly rolling in the dough. I just recently made it out of an effectively less-than-minimum wage job. I haven't bought clothes or shoes (with the exception of for work) for over a year. But I'll check it out. Who knows, right?

Well, I'm a US 10, and it's fairly easy to find shoes, but I use mine a lot and these last one's have lasted me almost, if not just over a year and are still good. They are a mix between boots and sneakers, though clearly just a sneakerkin boot(for those familiar with 3.5 dragonkin) by sketchers. The only thing is they only work if I don't care what I'm wearing. I could probably find a women's shoe in my size, but I need wide shoes, and I have the genetic trait of hair on my knuckles...
