Sorry to be pessimistic, but I think the most you're likely to get is a marked grave for him when azure city is liberated...

It doesn't matter particularly whether he stayed in Azure city or boarded Hinjo's junk, both groups have undergone a good few encounters without sufficient resurrection capabilities (because Durkon doesn't have the material components required, or if he does, he's saving them for Roy), so I think it's just a matter of attrition...

So, IMO, best case is a marked grave- possibly a sarcophagus with a stone effigy if you're really lucky, but only if every other dead Paladin gets one.

There is still a chance, and we shall fight for it! Besides, if this unfortunate idea is true, his body may be gone, but his spirit survives! Long live that Guy with a halberd!

But in this case, the magenta belt it means he's switched to being a bodyguard to the magenta noble who hates Lord Hinjo. That's too dishonourable for tGwaH to contemplate. It'd almost be as bad as switching weapons!

this is Ridiculous, obviously we need some form of Test to decide who among us is truly dedicated to That Guy With A Halberd and not That Other guy with a (not as cool or original) halberd

uhh not really unless there was some tech error and it just needed reloaded
mine works just Fine....?
although I just type out the code for most of the stuff like [ I ] [ /I ] with out the space around the text for the italics.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I thought I'd say it before some one else does, halberds don't have reach. But they do havea x3 critical multiplier and do x2 against charging oppnents.

The day shall come when the unbelievers and other fanclubs will try to defeat us,they shall charge us from every angle, but we shall smite them for our halberds do x2 damage against charging opponents...

Also, GwaH could have his halberd enchanted with distance and returning. That way he can throw them at people and have them return!

Only problem is, you cannot make a potion of true strike (because it is a range of personal).

By the way Coplanter, I have a gaming group who loves the idea as well (I actually told them before starting this whole thing).

EDIT: Epiphany! What if we dual-wield Halberds AND READY THEM BOTH AT A CHARGING OPPONENT!

well I'll research my OWN spell It'll increase the roll to hit by 40 and it'll have a touch range. It'll have to be a level 5 spell though so I hope GwaH has some serious component funds
