    Also *hugs*.
When I feel dysphoric (in the general sense), it usually helps me to verbalize as much as I can - best to another person, but I also talkwrite a lot to blank paper. I start with stating the exact bodily sensations, feelings, tinglings and then explore them from there.
Of course, that isn't exactly the easiest thing to do when feeling unhappy.
I tried doing that for a while, but... Well, the constant excrement-metaphors aren't exactly what I'd like to talk about around here. >.>

I can say, though... It really is no wonder I was so terrified during early puberty. The doctors I was able to go to haven't found anything (neither did the handful of body scans I've had, for that matter), but in all honesty it feels so weird I'm almost surprised they didn't.

Aw, please don't. I didn't even think I would react the way I did. Usually I'm much better at talking/thinking about it. And besides, I hardly think I could have stumbled upon it a better place than here - a safe place to get the bad feelings off my chest and you guys really did a great job of making me feel better about it.
    *More hugs*

Even a non-traditional wedding with xkcd, dogs and such wouldn't have made me anywhere near as happy if it were between straight cis people. And that's a bit worrying, because what makes their love for each other less heartwarming, less sweet and adorable and all other such things? I'm not sure if I'm going anywhere with this, but it distresses me somewhat.
*Hugs* I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Non-heteronormative marriages... Well, they're a sign that times are changing. They imply hope (if that makes any sense - wait, no, even if it didn't ).

Most displays of romantic feeling are saccharine and unbearable from the outside peering in--at least for me--it's just that, as most of them are also straight displays of romantic feeling, the non-straight ones at least seem novel.

Having thread on the needle is usually a good idea too.

And you left off the '~Bianca' again, by the way.

    Lanaya:

It could just be that traditional-ish weddings are much more common, so you're used to them. And there really hasn't ever been any kind of bar to them, in general, while LGBTA+ people are just now really being allowed to get married, so it's not only a newer experience, it's a good change.

Or something like that. I don't know if I conveyed my point very well.

I think it's mostly because these relationships don't get massive coverage starting from youth? So it's always refreshing to see a relationship that actually involves people "like me", you know.

First off, in thrash and power metal, we call it a bass. The only people who call it a bass guitar are those who aren't called bassists or fans.

My hair is also pretty long, and my friend actually wanted to start a band.

And I know there's nothing wrong with lamenting, but when a relationship lasts three days, but the pain goes far beyond that, I get worried that I'm going past lamenting and into self-harm. I don't want that.

EDIT: So my friend just broke up with his boyfriend. I don't understand all the deals of it (well, I should clarify he was born a woman), but he's really, really bummed. It makes my issues seem insignificant.

I may be asexual, but I suffered a lot from being perceived as ugly until I managed to get over it. And yet, I would enjoy it a lot if nobody beside my boyfriend perceived me as sexually attractive. Just not worthless because of my appearance, and not horrible to look at.

Actually, I kind of skimmed this one. Marriage in general isn't my thing. And the thing Astrella linked to--you mean the comic thingy? I would have thought that equally cute between a straight couple. Stuff like that is just sweet and manages to reach my crusty jaded old heart.

I'm not into metal and I still just call it a bass. I'm pretty sure it doesn't count as a guitar anyway due to only having four strings.

Doubt it since it's not his only trans song. Not to mention the fact that he used to (don't know if he currently does) wear traditionally female clothes occasionally.

Also I'm sorry but did you just suggest that Alice bloody Cooper would do a country song about a transperson to seem edgy?

    Steam username is Triscuitable.
I got VAC banned in COD: Ghosts for using an FOV changer.
I try not to think of how sad that is.

EDIT: So my friend just broke up with his boyfriend. I don't understand all the deals of it (well, I should clarify he was born a woman), but he's really, really bummed. It makes my issues seem insignificant.
*Hugs* Just because other people have their own problems doesn't mean you don't. I'm getting a bit preachy though, aren't I... *hugs to your friend*
