That should be obvious: it's a continuation of the running joke about how no one remembers familiars the vast majority of the time. Just because V is now keeping Blackwing in mind at all times doesn't mean the rest of the party is.

I'm confused, when Roy asked whether Xykon would go within 1000 feet of Girard's Gate first or Kraagor's, the answer was Girard's. Does this mean Xykon Will be within 1000 feet first, and that is yet to happen, or that he Did go within 1000 feet, and the Gate was hidden somewhere en route to Azure City. Because it seems like the former makes more sense.

I'd just like to interject (yes, I know, everyone is a critic) that the fate of Azure City seems more like a possible Chekov's Gun. It doesn't strictly need to be resolved in order to bring the story to a conclusion, so there's a chance that it won't be, in my opinion. Not a high chance, but still greater than 0%.

@Blisstake: Fyron's son is mentioned both times in which Roy and Xykon have their exchange where Xykon can't remember who he is.

On another note, I think that Rich will reveal V's gender but not until the very very very end of the comic. Nevertheless, that won't stop the fans....

Considering how major a character Hinjo has become, and the presence of Team Peregrine in the city, I think it WILL be resolved. Note that doesn't mean it's NECESSARY to be resolved, but my definition of "definite" is that the Giant has provided enough loose threads that it would be highly unlikely for him not to deal with it at some point down the road.
