De shivers and looks at BR and Inigo as she hears the scream, her fingers clutching the arm of her chair.

[The Bushranger]

What was that?

[Inigo Montoya]

Inigo can do nothing but shrug.

Jenny will find him, and rip out that thing's throat if it's still there.

He starts to walk torward THAT room again.

WHHOOOOOMBFFF!

Suddenly, the sanctified sigils that had long been inscribed by Neshi all over the base flare with the Purifying Flame, spewing hallowed fires in every direction.

Just as suddenly, the flares subside back into their normal state, of growling embers...

De gives a little eep and hugs her knees tightly, gathering her skirt up. Deciding she needs something to make her feel better, she grins at BR and nods her head towards Inigo's back.

[The Bushranger]

Bushranger gives her a reassuring smile, then smirks and nods.
Hey, Inigo.
He turns torwards him.
Something sticking out of your back pocket there, buddy.

[Inigo Montoya]

Inigo tries to turn around.

Eh? Can you hold this for a sec?

He tries to hand the plate off to Bushranger.

There is a small, folded piece of paper that smells faintly of perfume.

My dearest Inigo, I cannot keep the truth from you any longer. My heart feels it will explode if I do not confess it's secret - I love you, and I always have. Meet me tonight outside the infirmary and tell no one, please. Yours evermore in adulation, De.

On the back, in teeny, tiny, miniscule letters are the words April Fools.

BR takes the plate and tries to keep a straight face as Inigo reads the note.

"Did I miss something?" Hitomi was simply where ever anyone else was, her arms folded across her chest.

[Diva De]

De's glance goes to BR. Can you let her know it's a joke? Like this?

[Inigo Montoya]

Inigo reads the note. Before he gets half way done with it, he starts to gape. He looks at De and then looks back down at the note. He jumps when he hears Hitomi.

Gah! No! Nothing! You didn't miss anything!

Hitomi lifted an eyebrow at Inigo and snatched the note away, glancing over it before looking up at De with dark eyes.
"Look, bitch, I didn't say anything about BR or Rai-whatever. But if you think you can collect all the men in the house, we're gonna need to have a chat."

[Diva De]

De smirks and gets up. She blushes slightly as she passes Inigo, then slips into her room. Once the door is closed, she doubles over on the floor laughing.

[The Bushranger]

Sure thing, babe.

Inigo will now hear Bushranger's grinning voice in his head.
She got you good, buddy...April Fool!

He then walks over to whisper something in Hitomi's ear.

[Inigo Montoya]

Inigo looks at the back of the note, and sighs deeply. He falls on the couch.

Ha ha Bushranger...

[The Bushranger]

Bushranger smirks, and heads off to De's room, Indy at his heels, where he knocks on the door.

[Diva De]

De pokes her head out of her room, still giggling. Is the coast clear? Or is Hitomi still ready to bash my skull against the floor?

Of course, by now, Hitomi's already flaming with anger...and now she has nowhere to go with it. Grunting, she went off to find something to hit and/or eat.

[The Bushranger]

BR chuckles.
Might want to lay low until she takes it out on somebody else. You got him good, babe.
Indy yips and tries to squeeze in through the door.

[Inigo Montoya]

Inigo follow's brhind Hitomi.

You do know it was a joke, right? Besides, I don't like her that way...

[Diva De]

De giggles again and nods as Indy slips past her legs and hops onto the bed with Raistlin. She tries to stand in the opening so BR won't see him and get hurt or upset. She catches what Inigo is saying and chuckles. Though from the way he reacted, you might think he did...

[The Bushranger]

Bushranger nods.
I think you really freaked him out.
He pauses.
Do you want to do anything, or would you rather I left you to your snuggling?

[Diva De]

De winces, then again as BR sees right through her. No, I think maybe I should go apologize. She squeezes out the door and heads for the kitchen, listing off her agenda as she goes. Cheese to pacify Hitomi, apologies to both, got it!

"I know, but I've got all this...grr..I'm so worked up and now.." She fluttered her wings irritatedly.

Bushranger follows at a comfortable distance.
Just so you know...you don't need to worry about hurting me, OK?

Inigo takes a seat, somewhere.

"Do you honestly think you could?" Her black bat wings continued to flutter ever so irritatedly, but she sat down next to him anyways.
Damn her weakness for him.

De nods a bit, still worried about it. He's her best friend, after all. She hears Inigo and lurks outside the door. BR, do me a favor? Fetch me some cheese from the fridge so I can make a good entrance?
