Angie takes the question in stride. She wonders to herself how much she should ask of Andy about the future. "Best kept to open fields or the battle field, though they can be useful in certain rock bands. Let me guess you play the bagpipes?"

"Yup," Andy declares with a nod, before sighing. "But everyone seems to hate them. I can't possibly imagine why."

A bard with bagpipes is a lonely bard. At least she doesn't play the vulvuzela...

[Mee]

A God and Goddess appear in the entrance hall. Anyone can meet them there.

Civvy, sorry BR, comes running around the corner to do her usual greeting fiasco.
"Hiiiii what brings you here my name's Civvy this is HALO welcome to the~Oh. Hey." She stops upon recognizing one of the two visitors.

I think tents could be fun... 'specially if we and Chris all share one. Carrie winks, grinning.

"Maybe you need a good drummer, someone to help get people dancing. I always imagined that bagpipes are good for dancing music.

So Andy what brings you back in time?"

Canignis, the God Civvy recognizes, smiles at her. He's in casual clothing and unarmed, but his flame-red hair and his aura of heroism make it impossible for someone to mistake him for a mortal. Civvy! It has been awhile since we last met. I trust you are doing well?

His companion is a young woman, at least a foot shorter than the tall god, with short blonde hair, blue eyes, and the ears and tail of a grey wolf. She's wearing a partial set of plate mail painted brown: greaves, vambraces, and an ornate breastplate with an argent wolf salient depicted in the center. She carries a lucerne hammer and looks around uneasily, apparently not used to Canignis' company.


We'd need a big tent. The ex-SAS operative deadpans. After all, Kyne would sneak in for you and Chris, Patty and Angela would want to join Dani, Sioda would tag along with Angela, the Bushranger would invite himself to be with me, and... well, that's an awful lot of people, isn't it?

[The Bushranger]

"Ooh, that might be a good idea. I'll have to talk to Bella about that...and, well, we were bored. Things are more fun here." Andy grins, impishly. "So many handsome guys, too."

"Maybe. I think the crowd might be fun though," Dani says, somehow managing to keep a straight face. "But just the three or four of us would be fun too, of course! And a lot more cozy in a slightly smaller tent..."

Allow me to introduce you to Lykaina, Goddess of Honor... He pauses for dramatic effect. And daughter of Kylan. As Civvy probably knows, Kylan is the Selinite God who is Canignis' polar opposite. The fact that he's at HALO with his greatest enemy's daughter is very significant and not a little surprising.

The wolfgirl frowns as she looks Civvy over, then gives her a short bow.

It should be noted that Civvy's entire tone is not what it normally is when dealing with people, it sounds somewhat . . . less dull-witted.

Lykaina absently grinds the butt of her pole-arm into the carpet and looks up at the fluorescent lighting. Then she happens to catch Callie's eye. And raises an eyebrow at the ears similar to her own.


Sam laughs and gives her wife and girlfriend playful squeezes. This will be one interesting campout...

"We'll camp out in interesting times!" Dani declares, lifting a finger in 'overdtamatically making a point' pose and giggling madly, even as she squeezes Sam back tightly. "And the absolutely doubleplus best campout ever."

You just know she's looking forwards especially to the skinnydipping...

Callie leans out from the corner, waving at the wolf-eared girl with an excited grin.
Hiiii there! The foxgirl's notched ears twitch in interest; if Mister Canignis was bringing this girl here, it was probably something important!

I was hoping to get a hold of Toby before I came over, but it seems like he has cloistered himself away again... The Dog God shrugs. If Queen Orianna is available, I'd be... more than happy to discuss the matter with her.

Lykaina hesitates, then returns the wave. Amazing how many trained, experienced warriors are unsettled by the foxgirl's attitude.


So, Dani, do you think we should go invite more people now? She bends over to kiss a trail down her wife's body.

[McBish]

"See I knew there was a reason I can't get a date, girls from the future are traveling back in time and taking all the good guys."

Angie grins joking obviously. She knows the real reason she doesn't date is she is a terrible introvert.

Andy giggles, sticking her tongue out at Angie. "Well, I'll let you know if I see any guys I think are your type," she observes. "Or any girls."

Dani nods, closing her eyes and not trusting herself to say anything without squeaking, as she lets her hands wander a bit!

"Thanks." Angie makes no comment as to which she would prefer, blushing just a bit. "So besides quizzing people on their musical preferences and matchmaking what do you fill your time with here in the past?"

"Iunno. Haven't seen her around lately." Civvy admits with a shrug.

"Exploring, getting the lay of the land and all that," Andy answers with a grin. "It's fun seeing how things have changed and how they've stayed the same."

You misunderstand, my dear! I don't need to extract any information at all. But if there is something I can provide Her Majesty... He laughs, knowing that Ori is highly unlikely to request anything of him.

[McBish]

"Sounds like fun, though I would think that I would have a hard time not messing with the past though. Do you have some sort of time machine?" Angie asks thinking about what she would do if she had a time machine.

[The Bushranger]

"Well, it's kinda an alternate timeline now or something," Andy says, shrugging. "And Uncle John does. Well, he has a Stargate he built and we used it for time travel. It was tricky."

[Beans]

Carrie watches the couple have fun, giggling softly.

Callie slips out from behind the corner, trotting over to the wolf-eared girl with her usual enthusiasm.
Hi, I'm Callie, except there's another Callie so I'm Caledonia! What's your name?

"Ah the old tricky and most likely inaccurate time machine. No one has a good TARDIS laying around anymore?"

Angie grins and shifts the bags off her shoulders and sets them down on the ground. Even with the extra dimensional storage they are a bit heavy for her.

Polly seems quite intrigued by the fish, hovering slightly above the floor somehow as she watches them.

Civvy snrks slightly at that, and doesn't bother gracing it with a response.

"Not that I've seen, alas. Our friendly neighbourhood Time Lord is in another castle." Andy giggles. "Hey, need any help with those?"

Well, not that Civvy didn't have her own things to protect her, it's just that fighting weapons designed specifically to kill her, they didn't hold up so well.

"I guess. I mean, I think so, yeah.
Pretty sure he is. Not sure about standing up and fighting, but he's all sneaky and stuffs."

"Oh, cool. I could use someone like that," Gelley says. Between her and the others, their subtle factor was lacking immensely. "Could you point me in his direction?"
