Looking at the train times and prices, I can just about pull off a trip to Leeds or Bradford on Thursday, as long as I can find somewhere to stay.

Thursday, eh? OK, that works for me as well, so long as I can have a place to stay the night on a sofa or floor or something. Book me a ticket.

I may be able to squeeze both of you in. Unfortunatly I will have a 9:00 am start the day after and will want sleep after the show, so if people don't mind being kicked out at 8:45 am, ye can stay...

Also, are there any pics of the Oxford Mini-Meet? I am most crudinous...

Sorry, just checked timetable - 10:00 am non-compulsary start (but I would like to go if I can), so leave the house at ~9:45.

It's my Pure and Visual Optics module, so the mathematicians of you may be interested in attending if you so wish - I'll have to clear it with the lecturer first, but a little bending of the truth isn't too hard...

So Gamesoc has decided that we're going to the Nationals themed as Batman villains. And I don't know who to be. There aren't any androgynous ones, which surprised me greatly.

One friend has, in all earnestness, recommended Catwoman. I really don't think I could pull that off, though. Plus it's not really a costume which is possible to make - it would have to be bought, and I have little money.

I think all the well known characters have been taken already. Besides which, I'm really not convinced I could manage one of the female villains and it not be horrifying. They tend to be... very very female.

Also, because I was reminded last night that I should be plugging The Gondoliers, I'm going to plug The Gondoliers. It's next week, Thursday Friday and Saturday nights, also a Saturday matinee. I will be playing Giuseppe (One of the two titular Gondoliers), it will be brilliant. Love, confusion, baby-swapping - all the standard G&S nonsense, presented in excellent fashion by our wonderful cast. If you think I'm laying it on thick now, just wait 'til you see me on stage!
There is a facebook event here which people can look at if they want. If you don't have facebook, well I already said when it's on, tickets are £10 or £5 for concessions (Though for some reason those don't include students?) I would love to see some of you there - or more importantly, for you to see me there.
