Depends on where you are in Europe. In the Netherlands it launched at the same time as in the US, and they gave us a full month free to watch pretty much all the back catalog stuff including some pretty new movies (Endgame and I think the new Aladdin and Lion King were missing, but that's about it). Not any of the new Disney+ exclusive content though. That all went live after the free month finished.

The downside is of course that we got a downsize of our Netflix content. (Apparently streaming rights in the Netherlands are sort of weirdly disconnected from television rights in ways they aren't in other countries, which means that due to a lack of competition pretty much anything not made with money from any of our domestic television channels and put up on their own limited streaming channels has been pretty cheap to scoop up for Netflix. This is why our Netflix catalog has always been one of the best filled ones, and it's most likely also why Disney+ decided to include us in the launch.)

Numerous plot issues in the prequels, numerous dialogue issues in the prequels, the entire character concepts of Zito the Hutt and Jar Jar Binks, deciding that "guy with a gun pulled on you who has just directly said he's pretty much going to kill you" is an innocent that has to actually shoot in order for his death to not be a cold-blooded murder, if you want to go as early as possible I'll toss in the Holiday Special, OKing storyline involving Boba Fett's origins and then changing those origins years later, etc. etc.

Oh i totally agree on this one, some of them are very badly written.
This is my main critic of Episode 3, actually, that i overall like.

I overall agree with you on your points, but i also think that overall, Lucas gave us better stuffs than Disney.
Disney gave us Rogue One, Rebels, and the Mandalorian (who is as of yet a good show, let's hope it will last).
But Rebels was already in preparation before the sell to Disney AFAIK, and Disney also "gave" us TFA, TLJ, Resistance and Solo. And Solo was probably the less bad of this things.

Yeah, the original origins of Boba Fett were that of a Journeyman named Jaster Mereel, who went renegade and became a bounty hunter. It was later retconned into the clone origin, and I don't recall if the two were ever reconciled in any way.

I think the Sith species hasn't been brought over from the old EU, and there I also believe that Jedi was meant to be a corruption of Jei'Dai or something similar, who were the original Force Adept order that attempted to balance Light and Dark.

There is something to be said about leaving things unsaid, and the Star Wars EU was obsessed with filling in every possible nook and cranny. And then doing it again, in a way that contradicted the previous attempt. The more it did so, the more apparent it became that the original setting is paper-thin.

Traditionally in real life, it was one rank above an Apprentice and one rank below a Master, in any guild. The full title in Star Wars was Journeyman Protector - and it was basically a kind of police officer.
