Eo concentrates... and brings up a series of images and brief flickers of memory; other synths like herself, a white hospital bed, test tubes, doctors talking about monthly cycles... it's very unclear, though, what's going on.

That last bit combined with Eo's pregnancy makes it fairly easy to guess, though.

"Is that about when you found out you were pregnant?"

She types quickly as more images flash, these ones being of a ruined old building, strips of twisted, scorched metal scattered over the stale rubble. Then an old, cracked, gravel-riddled road, and the outskirts of Inside.

Michalson can't keep up the shadow tentacles for too long. So he focues his efforts on removing the gun from the woman's hand, and he'll dismiss the tentacles once that is accomplished. He hopes that his companions will manage to subdue her.

Winston yelps and flails backwards as the bullet grazes his arm. It probably hurts less than Winston thinks it does, but the experience is still something of a shock.

Magbot 2.0, on the other hand, goes forward! In what basically amounts to a tackle attempt. Time to pin the culprit down. Literally.

Shaping his hands to claws, Gordon cuts through the side of the tent, and then tries to lock his arms around the woman.

"No point in struggle."

The train roars overhead, drowning out all noises in the tent, and likely leaving some ears ringing. When it passes, the first noise to register will be the voice of Charlie, coming out of the speakers of the phone as the earbuds got pulled out in the struggle.

"... I cannot die. Though you will no longer see me, I will always be watching you.... The great love I have for you fills me with power and because of that, I cannot die. Though you will no longer see me, I will always be watching you... The great love..."

It seems she has that bit on auto-loop. However, she is now restrained, through the efforts of Magbot 2.0 and Disguised!Gordon. She is no longer struggling. In fact, she's smiling.

Derek hopes out of the boat pulling it up onto shore before offering Jezebelle a hand out of the boat.

"Of course, Oh Mighty One." The priest bows respectfully before turning and walking off. He think he knows where to find the chief; where he usually is- the granary, eating the winter's supply of grain. They don't yet have a reliable way of making alcohol, but eating from the oldest pile of grain occasionally causes tipsiness. Sometimes argot, or farmer's lung, but more often tipsiness.

Winson in the meantime, is coming down from the sudden pain and realizing it looks worse than it really is. Least he doesn't faint at the sight of blood. With one hand holding the wound area, he steps into the tent as well. After a moment of ascertaining the situation, he goes to pick up the phone repeating the message. It may be vital for tracing information. At the very least he suspects Magtok would want it. Seems to be some sort of brainwashing type thing...

He stays out of the argument between Gordon and Michalson though.

Since he seems that he wants to move around, she'll climb out of his lap and stand, stretching and getting used to the feel of the new morph. Not too different, but more energy is needed. The hair especially feels odd, as suppressing the pigment is not usually something she bothers doing when in different humanoid forms.

"Think we oughta head back to the Goblin? I don't really know why we'd be needed there, to be honest. We've been gone so long and it hasn't made much of a difference. I've been chasing down people, cures and the like since I began several months ago. A break would be welcome. 'Specially if you stay too."

On a beach near Inside there seems to be a group of people having a party on the beach. A large pile of firewood is set up for a later bonfire and nearby a band is setting up to play. Several people are out swimming in the ocean with a few surfing as well.

There also seems to be group of people with motorcycles seeming to be getting ready to do some racing. People are doing some last minute tinkering with their bikes to get them ready now. There also seems to be a group of people taking bets and getting a few "official" races.

"That being the case, then, I think we should go. Carefully, of course, but information is invaluable. I have not had a drink in a long time, and I do not think this would be the best place to start again." Pausing for thought, Endrik looked back over his shoulder.

A little troubled by what she's done, she picks her robes up off the ground, shakes the dirt from them, and dresses slowly, thinking.

"Um, what I meant to say is that traveling sounds fun. Somewhere relaxing though. I've seen enough bloodshed recently." She thinks guiltily back to the drow who'd killed himself at her command. "Far too much bloodshed."

No flash. No ear-shattering boom. No blast wave tearing him to shreds and frying the last scraps of meat off his flesh. That's.... That's a good sign, right?

Grabbing hold of the boulder behind which he was cowering, Barry hauls himself up, squinting to make out out the words on the flag through the dust-choked air. 'Bang'? Was this some kind of joke?

No. No, got to be nerve gas, nanos, biological. No one would go through all that for a joke. Covering his mouth and backing away from the canister, Barry sounds the alarm to have this room shut off, get some people outfitted with scanners and the closest they can get to decom gear.

And thus does the group run around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off!

Just as planned.

Well, I hope Erin's in a patient mood 'cause it's a long, boring trip. When she does finally surface, it's in the last place Excelsior wants her to be. A large, brightly illuminated room, light raining down from flourescent bulbs above onto the double-reinforced cables that snake across the room, all leading up to a large, rectangular vat in the center of the room, surrounded by expensive looking medical equipment.

But it seems the boys downstairs phoned ahead, 'cause there's on serious obstacle to Erin causing all the chaos she wants. Said obstacle is personified by Icarus, standing guard over the tank in the very Kull armor earlier stolen from her store and with a pair of gleaming metal claws strapped to the gauntlets. Now, it's a little hard to determine expressions behind that mask, but if I had to guess, he's glaring.

Glaring as he gets a full frontal view of the voluptrous Erin? The cad!
Erin, as it is, doesn't slow down. She keeps zipping upwards!

Turning tangible just long enough to volley a salvo of ectoblasts in Icarus' direction.
Only a half-salvo, since her powers are still drained from her earlier Hadoken.
But a half-salvo is still the equivilant of eight Delayed Blast Fireballs.

Oh, and two of them are aimed at the tank...

Huh. I have no clue if Francium has the 'ATA gene'. When Riv modified them from the base 'superhuman' blood sample he got from Umbrella, he used an extremely varied range of data for reference on what would make them strongest, toughest, fastest.

Enough that this ATA gene having worked it's way into their DNA is not inconceivable. The question, I suppose, relies upon three matters; How common the ATA gene is in humans, whether it is has any noticeable positive effects and conversely, any significant negative ones.

The ATA gene is common among humans who have interbred in the past with Alterans, also known as Lanteans and known in the current day as Ancients!

Positive effects of the ATA gene include the ability to operate Alteran machines that are keyed to the gene.

Negitive effects include going insane if said machine was a Knowledge Repository that downloaded itself into your brain...

Or more than likely scowling because he's getting such a nice view. Can't be very flattering, having your secret fortress of evil stormed by a naked hussy.

Icarus throws himself in the way of the bolts, all eight striking him rather than the vat. Or rather, striking his shields, which extinguish them before any amount to more than a brief flash of light and heat. No worse for wear, Icarus crashes to the ground on the other side of the vat, still glaring up at the ceiling.

This time the trip isn't nearly so long. Within moments Erin emerges into another chamber, this one both unoccupied and much nicer than the last. Other than the heavy wooden desk at one end, the room is almost entirely taken up by a row of empty glass tanks along one wall, tended to by a many-armed device hanging from the ceiling.
