Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
The Dungeons and Dragons movie (which the poster is about) isn't that bad no. It's not Lord of the Rings or anything, but it's not THAT bad if you take it for what it is. (And it doesn't have more plot holes than your average D&D campaign... or more cheese.)
The Dragonlance movie however? No it's not that bad, it's worse. Stay away from it!

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
I watched it back when it was released.
And on the way back home with my brother, we both had the realization "this movie was really bad!" The only other time we had that reaction was after we watched Blade. And we didn't have internet or knew any English at that time, so we can't have been prejudiced from angry reviews.

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
I thought both movies did what they set out to do pretty well. The D&D movie is adventurous, slightly silly and had a good bit of action and fantasy elements. It kept me entertained while I watched it and that was it.
Blade was action packed and ultra violent and I think it might have had a plot. Don't remember, but it kept me entertained while I watched it.
Granted it's been a long time since I watched either (I watched Blade when it came out on a VCR tape, OMG! XD) but I don't remember either being that bad, not awesome movies, but not absurdly bad either. But if I rewatch them today I might feel differently.

Re: D&D Demotivators Episode VI: Return of the JPEG
I still maintain to what someone once said on these forums, that there has never been a dnd movie until Patrick Stewart is introduced as Mordenkain. That goes double for Robert Downy Jr as the Blackstaff, John Cleese as Harkle Harper, and a young Sean Conery as Tenser.

Do not mistake my inaction for fear or doubt, if I desire you to hang yourself by your own rope why should I hasten the inevitable?
Do not underestimate me, for I have not underestimated you...

Wow, I didn't think it could be done, but it was. And just how I expected it would if it were ever attempted.

Thanks!
I actually had difficulty with the evil charts, since truly antagonistic alignment charts are generally political, religious, or break the forum rules in some other manner.

What's the source of Chaotic Evil? I've never seen that chart before.
Excellent. Now we just need 8 more of these and we can make an alignment chart of alignment charts of alignment charts.Spoiler

When I saw that chaotic evil poster, I knew it had to be Dwarf Fortress related.
