[Nexus] LANTERN II: That's right, Magtok LIED!

Ghar backs up slowly. He didn't live this long being reckless. He probes into the chaos energy with a magic tendril.

[Rae Artemi]

As soon as the tendrils touch the energy it jumps toward them, trying to follow them to their source. It is simply chaos, there is no rhyme or reason to it, it's just acting, expanding, gaining more energy as it goes.

[Gullara]

[Rae's Head]

Ghar releases the tendrils quickly. He continues to back up.

Got to think quickly.

[ThirdEmperor]

The Professor conjures a wall of energy, trying to block Normal Rae's blow.

[Rae Artemi]

The Wave continues to advance, gaining speed. Once it leaves the glow of Hope's flame, it begins changing the landscape, making it match that of the chaotic area that Crazy Rae calls home.

[Arena]

The blade slows as it stabs through the wall, but it doesn't stop.

I told you to stay out of this.

He shouts, raising his left hand and shooting a mass of three energies, Rae's own, Holy energy, and blue ring energy, straight at the professor's chest.

[Gullara]

[Rae's Head]

Ghar throws a wave of energy at the advancing chaos. Something has got to affect it.

((We're almost hitting the point where Ghar bails out and leaves Rae to become a crazy by the way))

The wave of chaos opens up and Ghar's wave just passes it, not altering at all, as if nothing was there. After a small while, the wave closes, but Ghar's energy should remain unchanged. It seems that if he were to teleport behind it, the wave wouldn't affect him

Ghar teleports behind the wave, next to the fire if he can. Once again he'll try to remove Crazy Rae from the flames, this time by conjuring a hand to grab him.

Crazy Rae is lifted out of the fire, unconscious, his breathing shallow, his back bleeding again. The landscape within the fire's light still unchanged.

[Gullara]

Ghar lifts Crazy Rae a fair distance from the fire and sets him down. He approaches him and attempts to heal him again.

I should note that it isn't normal healing. It's just stitching together the broken tissue.

[Rae Artemi]

The bleeding stops again, but he doesn't awaken, and his breathing is still shallow. It seems he's lost a lot of "blood", and is quite weak.

[Gullara]

[Rae's Head]

Ghar tries to communicate with Rae Rae, Rae, we need to get the crazy one out of here. He could be dying.

[Rae Artemi]

[Rae's Head]

I think I'm almost done here. Do you think you could keep him under control and get him to the cloning pods and into the other body?

Rae's voice answers back.

[Gullara]

[Rae's Head]

"I shouldn't have any trouble with him." And with that Ghar attempts to pick him up and walks over to the rope, Which he will start climbing.

[Rae Artemi]

He won't struggle, still being unconscious, but his breathing will slowly get shallower, and, eventually, the wave of chaos energy in the distance will dissipate, the landscape beginning to turn back to normal.

[Gullara]

And Ghar will continue to climb. I imagine until Emily is undeadtimed.

Yes, that is almost exactly the amount of time that will take. Or until something inevitably goes wrong with the Professor trying to stop Rae.

Sorry, but I cannot stand an unfair fight. So I believe I will be throwing my hat into the ring. Der Gud Professor Konradd, says, conjuring a forcefield of gray energy to stop the blows, then teleporting into the ring, activating the various functions of his belt as he does so. A powerful anti-magic field radiates outward for about thirty feet around him, and when he moves it seems almost like bad stop-motion, due to the accelerator gizmo on his belt. His arm blade snaps outward, and he strikes a defensive pose.

Rae's voice says from directly behind the doctor, though Rae doesn't appear to have moved.

What, so you can continue fighting a fight tilted in your favor? And here I thought you posessed at least a moderate sense of honor. The Professor says, raising an eyebrow.

Hayden, witnessing the Professor walk into the arena, tries to sneak up behind the Professor and knock him out with a blow from his sword pommel to the back of the Professor's head.

Honor goes out the door when you're fighting a psychopathic version of yourself.

Rae says, turning away from UR. The blade he was holding staying in place.

But if you want to play it that way, it's fine by me. It's your funeral.

Rae says, taking off his jacket, snapping it, forming it into a sword in his right hand. In his left appears a sword made out of pure blue energy.

Now, I'll give you one more chance. Get the f(bleep) out of my space station.

I often indulge in a little chuckle, over the fact that you so called "good guys" have considerably less honor than me, a self admitted villian. The Professor says, unimpressed. He thinks, and bands and plates of grey force surround him and contract, forming a suit of armor around him. As a final touch, he activates the phasing ability of his blade, which allows it to rip through solid steel and, more importantly, forcefields and other such constructs of energy.

"This has gone far enough." Ghar suddenly appears in the room. His voice echoes strangely and his eyes are closed tight.

"You need to leave," he says to the Professor.

Nope, sorry, not gonna happen. Seeing as you have a surplus of Rae's, I think I'll just borrow one as a test subject. And seeing as the unhinged one here was already a bit outmatched, I thought I'd even the odds. The Professor says, holding his head. That really hurt, but thankfully he thought to protect his brain with a metal skull graft.

Rae says, rushing the Professor, closing the gap between them in the blink of an eye, and throwing a monstrous punch at his stomach, the blade in his right hand shifting to become a spiked glove.

Andy goes for the roffesor as trying to hit him with his left fist, if Rae miss him.

Th Professor is hit, but his armor only managing to deflect part of the blow. He hits the bars of the arena hard, blood pouing from the holes in his gut. Is that the best you can do? Seriously, after all your bragging, I though you might actually be a cut above the average man. He says, and rushes at Rae, trying to slice at him with his blade.
