Lesson Learned: Dont muck about with Mystcraft when you don't know what it does fully, had a nice little set up going and i forgot to bring the book that lets you return home...

Found a odd bug with Treecapacitor and Redpower Rubber trees. Every-so often the tree explodes like a normal one does but at the cost of an axe or it only does it in bands.

Sometimes there is issues with the logs that have sap spots on them being different.

Yeeeaaaa.... if you can, age surf until you get one with a Star Fissure. Otherwise, you're pretty much stranded, unless you want to resort to cheats (giving yourself Item90 from NEI or /warp).

Oh, Redpower rubber trees... yea, treecapitator doesn't like how big they are, and how branchy they can get with their limbs, I think.

If they nerfed it so that it eats up durability for every square instead of a single use for the whole tree, then I could easily see a single axe getting consumed for one of those things...

I was thinking about having the video be concentrated around the events that the server has, so the Survival Pyramid, the PVP arenas, The Walls, the upcoming Creeper Survival. and more. Also maybe looking at other things that brought you all to the server and caught your attention, making you stay with us as much as you have. If you could take a look at the videos, and let me know which one you like, I would greatly appreciate it. It's 12 videos, a total of 34:05, you don't have to just sit there listening to the songs, you could listen to them while playing another game, just let me know if there is a song that you like in particular.

I think showing the mansion would be good. But I don't think too many super-structures would work well, since its intimidating. I do agree about event though.

Speaking of events, maybe there could be some formal schedule on this thread where people can pre-arrange participation in these events?

As much as i hate to use it that's what i have just done. I didn't really want to start again so soon.
Tried to make additional ages but it goes black like the Void and doesn't work- crashing the game so i'll live without Mystcraft for now.

Are warps still down on the server? I was doin stuff on one of the hardcore worlds since the broken warps prevented me from returning to RPworld, and since i helped Heaven with his video thing i can't even get back to that and am now stuck on spawn :u

If you use /wg # you should be able to cycle to the right one.

Tip: If you are prone to forgetting what number goes to what group, /wg also accepts names (survival/creative/hardcore/rp).

Another tip: The Ventrilo server (same ip, default port) contains a channel specifically for contacting admins who are not logged on to the server.

I've been wanting to make a promotional video for the minecraft server. I wanted to get the thoughts of other people on the server. I feel that our server deserves to be larger than it is currently with the number of people that are on at a given time. If I were to get help making a promo video, I first would need a good program that can get good quality video. If people have a program on their computer, and get good fps, please let me know. I'd love to get some first person action snippits from the events. I'd be willing to give prizes to those who help out with making the video. I already have a good amount of screen shots of events. I'm just hoping to get some video.

Do note though, that if we do make a promotional video. The server will be spread out to more than just the GITP forum group players. So we would be attracting players from outside of our forum. That does increase the potential for players, but also increases the potential for trolls and etc. So I had wanted to know what your ideas were regarding this request and wish.

Please let me know in reply or quote to this, or even in PM if you have an opinion that you don't exactly want visible to others.

P.S. to be able to get shots of The Walls and PVP events (as well as the Survival Pyramid), I need more than 2 people on who are willing to do it. For The Walls, I need at least 4 for the 2v2, and about 8 for the 2v2v2v2. I want to be able to make our server shine like it truly does. Not a lot of servers are as amazing as ours. The amazing players, and great workers (admin, mods, owners) who work behind the scenes and in them to make the server as fun for you players as possible.

I have banned Futile450 for extensively griefing with lava, having griefed the Eiffel Tower, and the Wall of China and possibly more. He stated that he would help, when I saw it; and when I said that it was him, he denied the accusation. I have hawk rollbacked everything that was has done by him, so no damage is there anymore. So here are the first few songs I have written

promo1 is a slightly modified version of Sabine, which I made for the OOtS Soundtrack project. Mostly vocal with some electronic-sounding stuff.

promo2 is a symphony piece(granted the strings sound nothing like strings because of the program I use)

promo3 is a electronic piece. I don't normally write electronic music so this is my first piece that is mostly electronic. Wrote this one a few hours ago pretty quickly.

Underlord, have you thought of using a method when making music, to create a beat with a single instrument, and then slowly add other instruments onto it, one by one? I find that making music that way is very nice. Also having the instruments taken out one by one. That's how I made my music in high school, and I had gotten several compliments on my music pieces.

I've started a semi new character there(algernon's aprentice, a witch named Maria) and have started to sort of miss when it seemed to happen more often(and this new character is also more likely to interact with others, since she's not an undead hermit)

Yeah, something like that, but you don't exactly have to have the instruments always at the same notes, try having an actual beat going for a few seconds with one, and then throwing on others, like dubstep would do. What program are you using? Do you think it would be possible for me to get it? Or possibly from you? So that I could try messing around with it. That would be great! :)

I use Musescore to write the music. Its free to download so should be no problem to get it.
