The town is buzzing a bit about this united group we apparently have in our midst, working together for our common good. After a prolonged argument, which began in whispers but became steadily louder as time went by, it seemed to become obvious who two of this group are. They were having a heated disagreement about which of two possible werewolves we should lynch today. Apparently they have some contact who identified these wolves.
Now one of these two was the Imperial Psychopath, as we know him. And I can’t say I’m decided one way or the other whether I think he can be trusted. But this ‘Ramsus’ character – if that is his real name, which I doubt – he is doing all he can to pull the proverbial wool over our eyes, sir. I knew the late Corporal Jones, sir, and his friends and I spoke to this ‘Ramsus’ after the Psycho made his claim. Now he’s got these two speaking up for him, sowing dissent in the ranks, and he’s fooling them all. We can’t let it be, sir. Recommend we take immediate action against him sir.

Sir, I don’t know why he’s doing it, but the Sergeant is deceiving you. Corporal Jones and I never met him prior to our arrival here, he is not a part of our little group. Don’t believe what he says sir, we are the ones to be trusted.

And I’m afraid this may throw doubt on any intelligence he previously communicated to you, in addition to muddying the waters as regards the chain of command, with the question of who has seniority among the corporals.
Request quick clarification on this point sir, as the whole place has been thrown somewhat into chaos and confusion with all these arguments, sir.

That is correct. Lynching Annon was a test to see if the seer claimant in the mason network was truthful. Said claimant also pointed to Imperial Psycho. It is currently Day 8, the chances of Imperial Psycho scrying every night yet not finding a wolf is starting to drop into the single-digit percentages.

Well, if we sort through this Seer business, we follow along the correct Seer, I suppose. Assuming IP business is resolved in 1-2 days, then the chances of our Seer hitting another wolf spikes to ~70-80%. Don't make me actually write out a formula, please.

Well, to be fair, I probably would have voted for razovor too, had I been a non-mason and alive. Still, if the Julian vote was on Day 4, that's when Annon was most suspicious. Odd he didn't vote for him then.

Anyway, we've had a few villagers contact us tonight so far, as well as a baner claimant, which means the masons now know all the village power roles, with one possible exception. Nobody claiming another Seer/Fool though; it's looking worse and worse for Imperial Psycho.

The werewolves, it seems, may not only be identified by certain rituals known to the natives, but also they may be repelled, through correct use of a certain plant found in the area, however the principles of its use are confusing at best, and it seems to be expressly laid down in the Trickster’s restraints that only one person shall master them in each repetition of this scenario. Additionally, this will allow the user to protect only one person each night, so they must be sure to choose rightly. With guidance and wisdom, this man or woman may be an inestimable boon to the cause of humanity, however without it he may well prove utterly ineffective, and of course he must be quite careful to ensure his own safety, for once he is lost, he is lost.

What with all these accusations flying around, I’m sure the werewolves are watching the possible seers closely. Better ensure protection for one of them, and hope I find the right one...

The Baner will be wary, but we shall outwit him, yes... With the restraints on the plants and the rituals, he can only protect one...

Failing the plants and the rituals, I can’t help but think werewolves can’t be completely immune to gunfire. A few good shots, and they’ll be running for cover!

Ah, to come on our prey so unaware... and, so portly as he is, he’ll find it hard to escape. No chase, alas, but all the joy of a perfect ambush. No mistake shall be made, and he shall make a good meal as well.

I wasn't using me accusing Annon as a defense :) If you think I'm a wolf, lynch away :) I was just proud of myself for being so suspicious so long :)
