Re: Playground Squares X: What will they think of next.
Pretty sure we always had choices, but I may be wrong.
And thank you Ms. rabbit, those are lovely options.
Now, as you may have guessed, I've not read any of Ms. Meyers books and watched the movie just to see what the big deal was....and thought it was terrible. That was mostly due to acting and people tell me to give the books a chance, so I may, someday, when I run out of better things to read.
But I have a 25% chance here, maybe better if we look at these choices logically... *looks logically* Nevermind, they all seem like logical choices.
Well, If I'd had to make one up off the top of my head (yes, I was prepared to do this should you not have given me options) I was going to go with 'Dark Morning' actually. Since this is actually nearly one of the options, I'd be a fool not to go with it, maybe I heard it somewhere. *shrugs*

Re: Playground Squares X: What will they think of next.
Nope, they didn't. Even when I first started playing, you had to make things up to sound convincing. I'm horrible at sounding convincing. So if I sound convincing, you should totally agree with everything I say, okay. Just a little hint.

Before the choices, I thought the answer was Breaking Dawn. Is that one of the real books? I know it's a thing.
Anyway, I guess I'll agree?

I think I know the answer to this.
Why do I know the answer to this?

Re: Playground Squares X: What will they think of next.
I mapped it out in my head. I was in the middle of the room, the farthest row in the back. I would take my right side first. I could snap four or five of their necks per second, I estimated. It would not be noisy. The right side would be the lucky side; they would not see me coming. Moving around the front and back up the left side, it would take me, at most, five seconds to end every life in this room.
Long enough for Bella Swan to see, briefly, what was coming for her. Long enough for her to feel fear. Long enough, maybe, if shock didn't freeze her in place, for her to work up a scream.
One soft scream that would bring nobody running.

Re: Playground Squares X: What will they think of next.
Personally, I'd love to see a full round of playground squares without Multiple Choice.
So much more fun to see the BS you could come up with. I remember times when I knew the answer but blew it to keep the game more interesting.
No Multiple Choice in 2012!! or...March, maybe.

Re: Playground Squares X: What will they think of next.
Now I think on it, I'm certain there didn't use to be multiple choice. Specifically, when I wrote "The History of Kubb" as a response to a question. If I'd had multiple choice to go on, I'd not have needed (or felt compelled) to do that.

Re: Playground Squares X: What will they think of next.
Zeb is right. We didn't use to have Multiple Choice. Unfortunately, we ran into a rut of contestants knowing to answer "disagree" because the Square obviously didn't know the answer, especially when the host was obviously asking questions from before the Square's time. So the host started asking multiple choice questions and also because the host enjoyed making up goofy answers. However, it is at the host's discretion on whether or not the question is MC or not.
These are the teachings of Bookman who is the true host of Playground Squares and who's podium we are all merely keeping warm until he is ready to return and take his rightful place as host. Of course, he never had a scepter, so maybe he's not the rightful ruler of Squares. Its complicated!!inner circle Legionary of Resiliance

Given that if there had been no choices, I most likely would've gotten the square, I am standing down. No choices is fine.
