Ready – Aim – Fire Classic II: Doctor, we have an emergency!

To avoid some confusions (which already occur):

This is RAF Classic, the original, free-for-all RAF game. You can find Team RAF, the team-based variant of this game, here.

This game is identical with Silkenfists game “Ready Aim Fire”. I imagine he will have no problem with me running it once, but, should he have problems anyway he can always drop me a PM and I'll drop it.

The main rules (spoilered cause I think most of the people know them already):

You have to decide between three actions:

1) Shoot the air –> Nothing happens. If you get shot you die.
2) Shoot [insert player name here] –> [insert player name here] dies if he did not shoot himself.
3) Shoot yourself -> if no one tries to kill you, you die! If someone shoots you this player will get killed instead of you and you live!

For better understanding here is a link to Lord Herman’s “comic for better understanding the rules of Ready Aim Fire.

You have about three days to PM your action to the narrator (=me!). I will announce the submission date in the Narrator Posts.

If you miss a date once you shoot the air. If you miss a date twice in a row you get autolynched.


Roleplay rules:

This game will take place in hospital at large. Which means you can pick pretty much any role that would be found in hospital or any of it's many installations. You want to be laboratory tehnician? Fine, be one. Want to be mortician? Cool, we always need those. Want to be patient? Seeing that you're likely to get killed I would advise you against it, but it's your call in the end. And I imagine we could do with a busty nurse In the end, knock yourself out. The crazier the role the more fun it will be to write something down. Or you can be just ordinarly RAF contestant, if you don't feel like roleplaying. I will be your host for this instalment and I hope we'll work well together.

I will post the end of the round and start writing then, no PMs will be accepted after the end of the round post.
Since it’s my first game of this kind so I don’t know how much time I need to write the story, I would say it shouldn’t last more than 24 hours.

Count me in. I'll be an evil mutli-resistant, airborne, evil, invisible, waterborne, evil crossbread between a virus and a bacteria wearing a tie, running loose through the hospital. Highly contagious, highly lethal.

I will be the rich playboy doctor whose father owns the hospital, whose girlfriend is the head nurse, whose other girlfriend is a young intern, whose best friend steals morphine from work, whose twin brother was fired from the hospital two months ago and whose colleague once made a medical error which cost a patient his life and has covered it up since then but was blackmailed by someone. The playboy doctor also has no qualifications whatsoever to speak of, was once declared alive-sick-dead-alive (in that order) and wastes his money on fast cars, hard liquor and horse racing bets.*

* Any similarities with every single hospital soap on the planet are purely coincidental.

Behold, an attempt to help out doctors and nurses by installing a prototype AI into the hospital systems, with some limited access to defibulators, needles, telephones, heart monitors, and the concentrations of solutions in those dangly pouches that get strapped to patients' arms. Watch as the systemovercomes all barriers and, in it's first terrible act as an entity, the building itself stops to say, in it's sterile, cold voice, "I can't let you do that, Doctor."
