Natalia looks guiltily at the last two. "Past builds present, but... Doesn't make all present." it was a trusted sense of honor that drove them? She doesn't know for sure. "Spared kobolds, aid for freedom, but even there no weapons." she mulls it over. She doesn't want to lost her compassion. And some of this is self loathing as well. A different path, a different choice, people not there to help...

Even so, the payment...they're better than Cutler! They're giving them a chance at redemption! Not forcing them into chains for amusement and coin!
