Judge me by my size, do you? I'm twenty-one, not sixteen, and I am more powerful than you could possibly imagine. And I'm willing to bet that dates are irrelevant since I've gotten more lately than you have.
Oooooh, Sam managed to piss her off...
She waves her spatula in a vaguely threatening manner.
Not to mention you do develop good aim when you have natural abilities to shoot that you don't even need a gun for.

Libulel, alas, goes unnoticed in the territorial marking for the upcoming catfight.

More possible than I could imagine? I lived in HALO for Chrissakes! They've got all kinds of absurdly powerful freaks who can supposedly demolish the whole universe with a thought! Now sit down and shut up missy, I've been to hell and back after seeing my coworkers shot to death all around me before getting my head blown off, and I am in no mood to deal with you. Sam glares daggers at her.

Ignored little Libulel, who's really rather lanky, pulls out the hidden sketchpad and chalks concealed up there, and gets ready to draw the upcoming catfight for his private viewing later is about to draw before deciding that all the bad vibes in here would put him off. Setting his art supplies down, he just sits up there, and watches 'em.

Knock it off girls, will you? Wenomir says wearily, entering the kitchen.

Ooooooh, I'm so scared! Dani puts her hands on her hips and stares right back at Sam. If I wanted to, I could rip out part of your brain stem with a thought. So I'd suggest you rethink your attitude a bit. I'm sorry about what happened to you but if you think that means I'm just going to back down and be a good little churchmouse you've got another think coming!

Wenomir, upon entering and speaking, gets a 1000-watt death glare.

Sam sighs and suddenly, Branded reflex, her Glock is in her hand pointed between Dani's eyes and the hammer cocked. Fine, back down like a good little powerful adult woman with an intact brain.

Libulel says kindly from the fridge Neither of you are exactly behaving like patrons of a holy organisation, are you? My uncle told me to come here because it was safe, and not to go to HALO, for it was chock-full of drama. It seems he was wrong on both accounts, partially: you two are creating enough drama to kill a Radakh beast, and it's hardly safe if a mind-eating teleporter and gun-toting policewoman are at war in here, is it? And one of the barstools suddenly shifts form to become Peter Raven holding a blade at Sam's throat.

"Drop the gun. Now."

Dani's eyes are narrowed to slits.
You think you can get away with pulling that trigger, then you go right ahead, Miss Has-Something-To-Prove. But I'd suggest you didn't. Bad things happen to people I don't like.
She keeps her eyes locked on Sam, despite her surprise at Raven's appearance.

The kid's right girls, it's no place for petty squabbles.
Wenomir doesn't seem to be much affected by the glare.

I don't have anything to prove, I am merely in a very, very bad mood. And I have problems controlling my anger at times. For that I am truly sorry. She lowers the gun and then notices the knife at her throat. F*** you.

Hi, Dani. Hi, Sam. Melody skips into the main room, heading for the kitchen, following her nose. Smells good, Dani.

And I'm sorry for inciting you.
In a flash, Dani is back to her usual cheerful self.
You can let her go, she says to Raven with a bright smile as she turns back to her cooking.
Then looks over at Wenomir. Wait, kid?
She grins at Melody. Hey! Good to see you Melody! Want some?

Oh my god, like, you're so fracking stupid! Alek's voice says, cheerily, in Melody's head. Of course, it may be blocked out, and so such, but it's just talking, really.

Meanwhile, Libulel's dropped from the ceiling into a seat in the living room.

Raven doesn't drop the blade. "I don't know who you are, and my niece has a lot of enemies. So if someone doesn't vouch for you by the count of three, there's going to be an awful mess in this kitchen."

Once Dani says so, the blade disappears.

Judy and Mint appear in their room...

See, Sam just quickly steps back and suddenly has a kerambit in her hand. Samantha Goswell, member here, check the roster.

I'll vouch for her! Dani calls over her shoulder with a broad grin.
Seems she thought the whole thing was just a grand adventure.

Hey, Mint, dear. How's the being all slutty and stuff going for you? Alek's voice cheerily says, in Mint's mind. Of course, if Mint can't hear telepathy, or whatever, she won't hear him. This is assuming she doesn't have radical mental shields. But he's not mind controlling, or anything.

Melody grimaces, but ignores Alek. He's back, Uncle Raven. And Sam's a member, in usually good standing.

I'd love some, Dani. She smiles.

He walks over to Melody and puts an arm around her. "Be strong, dearest. I won't let him hurt you."

I mean, you haven't even noticed th... Oh my god. Oh my fracking god! Alek sounds really, reall delighted in Melody's mind, insanely happy. I mean, I was going to make up some sob story about how I was abused, or something, some made-up bull to intimidate you, or make you pity me, but, this is too damn perfect.

Coming right up! Dani grins and grabs a second plate, then waves joyfully at Judy. You're back! Hey!
She then spots Mint's rabbit ears, and starts giggling.

Alek is. He's in my mind. She walks over to Uncle Raven.

Sam puts her kerambit away. I think you're missusing "clan". And of late I've not been myself. I blame being killed for that one actually. She sighs and walks to her room, where she deadtimes.

Oh my GOD! Look, I'll show the curly-haired fool, too. Alek says, as Libulel can be heard issuing a loud yell of pain from the living room. Whoa, he's clever. Anyhoo, yeah. Just look at the alignment scans off your beloved Uncle Birdface. I mean, normally I'd just make up some incest jazz, as I said, but this is true!
