Stupid Things to Point Out
Life is complex. It has ups and downs and parts none can explain. Humanity has done some stupid things (for example, years ago people have made seven-eleven shops open twenty-four hours a day, but still have locks). Here you can point some stupid, frustrating, or completely insane things we as humans have done.
Have fun! After this experiment, I wasn't the only one with magical pants.

Re: Stupid Things to Point Out
Uncontrolled chaos where everyone is trampling over each other in a crowded, confined space? Or an orderly, calm procession that quickly moves towards the exits? In most things like building fires, it is generally prudent to remain calm and collected... True, the general instinct is to run and scream when someone shouts "FIRE!" in a crowded room, but if you try, it becomes easy for a person to remain calm and to escape in an orderly fashion without anyone being hurt...

Re: Stupid Things to Point Out
To be fair, we set up a defensive perimeter against the Germans and set up an aggressive campaign against Japan.

Re: Stupid Things to Point Out
Even 7-11s get robbed from time to time. (I know...Shocker!)
When a business is robbed, the first thing done, after the robber leaves, is to lock the doors till the police come to sort it all out. therefore, one needs locks; even on a building that is generally open all the time.Last edited by Midnight Son; 2008-10-15 at 10:55 PM.

Actually I forgot to mention the biggest conspiracy in the US
The MPAA, which literaly controls movies, since an NC-17 will never get shown and the commity to appeal a rating is chaired by MPAA members and studio heads.Doliest's crimes against good taste

Wide-scale reporting on box-office proceeds at the end of every weekend. Ooh, I really want to see a movie just because lots of other people did.

Re: Stupid Things to Point Out
I think he's going more for that people believe that we're causing global warming...not that the earth is heating up some (.7 degrees Celsius since 1880). Our CO2 effects are localized, so we're not the reason the polar caps are melting.
To keep on topic, peanut butter has a warning that it contains peanuts. Lighters have a warning that they're flammable. Coffee cups have a warning that the contents are hot. You know...most warnings fit into the catagory of "stuff that shouldn't need to be pointed out"
