GLoG XVII: SMITE CONTINUITY!

I'm fine Dani..Alexis tries to channel energy into Decker..So she won't be tired anymore.

If you need me, I will be somewhere where those around don't despise me.

He glares at Alexis for a second, then exits the infirmary. He heads for the rose garden, but isn't gone yet.

[Kaelaroth]

DC may see a small, rather familiar, pink cat nosing about the rose garden, giggling, seemingly having wander in from outside (indeed, there're tracks leading from a seemingly random spot in Freedom Glades). The kitty's coal eyes are smoking, and its mouth occasionally opens in a yawn to show off pink diamante teeth and an obsidian tongue.

Dani nods, looking relieved, and watches.
Is there anything I can do to help?

DC blinks, then turns back around, heading back to the infirmary.

Kaela is in the garden.

((*nods* Decker doesn't know it though. She just felt power shwooshing past her))

Decker is somewhat recovered, but she's still missing half her soul.

She just stays near Butler.

Raven starts working feverishly with herbs, creating an infusion which he doesn't even try to get into Turtle's mouth, as much as she's changing. He just pours it over her body. A few minutes later, the changing noticeably slows, and then stops altogether.

"Drug induced paralysis. Not a cure," Raven says. "But it buys us some time."

Alexis looks at DC.. I don't hate you...I just disagree with you. Kaela? Is that a good thing?

"Kaela?" Decker says... and runs out into the Rose Garden to find him.

[The Bushranger]

Kaela's the cat, right? He had something to do with this?

[Kaelaroth]

Well, Kaela's found a fallen rose petal, and, having minorly modified his shape to look like a little raccoon, rather than a kitty-cat, is now inspecting it with great interest.

Alexis looks around in confusion..Then decides to just go stand by Dani..

"Kaela?" Decker calls. She's only seen him in catboy shape, so she doesn't recognize him.

DC merely follows Decker, not saying a word.

[Kaelaroth]

The little raccoon, unlike a raccoon, stands up on its hind legs, and toddles round to face her, turning its head to one side, and sniffing in greeting. There's a lingering scent of jasmine in the air.

"Kaela, is that you?" Decker says, crouching down on her haunches in a most unladylike manner and tilting her head to peer at him

DC shrugs.

He was a cat when I saw him.

Dani slips an arm around Alexis' waist as she watches, worried for her friends, uncertan as to what she can do if anything to help.

[Kaelaroth]

Clearly, Kaela isn't sure who they are, but he nods to the question anyway, with a moderately cheery smile, holding out an acorn in greeting.

I don't know what we can do Dani..

(Deadtime)

Decker takes the acorn and eats it. "Butler's going to be so glad to see you. Want to come inside and see him?"

Hm...

DC decides it would probably be best if he left before Kaela did something funny. He pulls out his teleport remote, inputting unspecified coordinates because his player isn't sure where to take him yet. Not quite gone yet, though.

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela shakes his head, not nastily, but a bit firmly. It's clear, to Decker, at least, that he's remembered his real father, his eyes are a bit brighter than they were when he was a catboy, more intelligent. Me sees Butler in time. He mumbles, before...
.. vanishing, in a puff of champagne spatter, blood, and bone marrow tinted with lavender.

Decker goes back inside and stays near the deadtimed Butler.

Me either Lexie...I hate not being able to do anything to help my friends...
Dani leans against her side and sighs, looking down helplessly.

[Gnrlshrimp]

Slythynia kicks away the particularly vicious cloud of deadtime that settled on her and heads into the kitchen.

The kitchen? How odd. Vampires don't need anything but blood...

But Slythynia has developed quite the taste for certain foods. Regardless of whether she need them or not, she finds them quite delicious. Which is why the smell of well-cooked crispy bacon is soon floating through the air.

DC puts away the teleporter remote, since Kaela didn't do anything. He follows Decker.

So, Nomlas and Reinholdt tried to take Kaela, and then he brought you all to the past, then something else happened, then he snapped and started destroying everything, and finally you got back. Is that about right?

[Reinholdt]

Butler shakes off his coma-like stupidity and looks around, unsure of what to do or where everyone is at the moment.

[happyturtle]

Decker hugs Butler. "It's okay. Kaela's safe. He made it back. He says he'll see you later."

[Darkcomet]

I guess I should be going, then...

He turns, and starts for the garden again.

[Gnrlshrimp]

Blissfully unaware of all the drama going on elsewhere, Slythynia piles the bacon up onto a plate and sits down.

When was the last time she'd had bacon...?

Two years ago, maybe?

Something like that.

She grins and wolfs it down, savouring the taste of it. Heh, as long as they keep this place well stocked up with bacon, I could get by without ever leaving this building! Of course, she has no intention of spending all her time here, but the thought is rather amusing to her.
