GLoG 18: It's A Brand New Day

[Lex-Kat]

Melody walks into the main room. She goes to the kitchen and gets a Nuka-Cola out of the machine.

[Reinholdt]

Reinholdt cowers and backs away further. Which isn't much cause he's already in a corner. He seems to be afraid of this quasi-display of kitty affection right now, having currently lost all pretenses and lies and manipulations.

Edit: Then Happy says the wrong word. Friend.
That implodes him.
Claws and teeth come barreling out in all directions as he attacks anything and everything indiscriminately.

Thanks little drone buddy, I gotta learn to find out where I'm going before I go there.
Johnny lets the drone lead him to his own room.

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela's feeling rather unloved. He curls up on the floor, pouting.

[Me.]

After a while, Ryu conjours a bowl of water. He then attempts to control the fire and water at the same time...

[Admiral_Kelly]

[Greatroom]

"My clan would never allow outsiders in unless necessary." Nora says to Peter.

[Reinholdt]

Kaela, I think Reinholdt is afraid of you.

Then Reinholdt attacks. And Turtle, defenseless and weak, can do nothing but try to restrain him with her single hand while getting scratched and bitten.

[Kaelaroth]

... Kaela's player might be more tired than initially thought. He missed both Happy's post and Rein's edit.

The kitty cat eeks in panic when Reinholdt goes crazy, and starts to mewl, high-pitched, in panic, curling up in a ball, all too easy to rip apart.

Turtle will attempt to keep between Reinholdt and Kaela. Shouldn't be too difficult since she's bigger than both.

((I'm previewing every post to make sure I respond to any new posts that happened while I was typing, and I'm still missing stuff.))

[Reinholdt]

Ever try to hold an angry psycho kitty with one hand?
Yeah. Just doesn't work very well. Least if the hand is normal.

Which as of right now means that both Turtle and Kaela are getting shred up as the kitty runs around the cage in a whirlwind, darting in and and out in attacks entirely at random. Reinholdt even tries to bite the door/bars and scratch the walls at some points.

Turtle helps protect Kaela somewhat.

[Me.]

Ryu hears the battle and goes to help out. He goes over and tries to restrain Reinholdt while asking Turtle what's going on...

[Admiral_Kelly]

[Greatroom]

"No. We have always had a sufficient growth rate throughout our history... We have had to allow others in at times."

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela wails in panic, and, with a flicker of pink light, tries to turn Reinholdt into a snail.

[Reinholdt]

Ryu rushes into the cell and begins to help Turtle restrain him.

Then Kaela turns him into a snail. He's probably not going anywhere now.

[happyturtle]

The hand isn't exactly normal. Turtle can't shapeshift at the moment, but she's nearly immune to physical pain, which helps her ignore whatever damage she's taking as she attempts to restrain him.

Turtle then picks up the snail. "Kaela, no. Please change him back."

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela curls up into a ball, and shivers. Literally. The cat-Kaela ripples, and now there's a pink sphere quivering on the floor.

[happyturtle]

Kaela, please?

[Me.]

Ryu looks confused and again tries to ask Turtle what's going on

[Reinholdt]

This seems the perfect place to go for food deadtimes.

If Kaela or someone changes him back, he'll come back unconscious for now.

[Kaelaroth]

Kaela vanishes, in a burst of pink light, champagne splatter, purple fireworks, and incense smoke.
Reinholdt's snail-phase will wear off when his player returns.
((deadtime))

[happyturtle]

Turtle looks up at Ryu from where she sits inside the cell, holding Reinholdt-snail protectively. "We have to keep Reinholdt up for his own protection. He's not sane right now."

Ryu is outside the detention cell.

[Me.]

Ryu nods and goes back to the greatroom. There, he continues his practice...

[Lex-Kat]

Lex appears outside the detention cell. Turtle, why are you cradling a snail?

Melody goes to the couch in the main room and begins watching teevee.

[Reinholdt]

The snail conveniently reforms into Reinholdt right as Lex asks the question.

Still going to be unconscious for a short while, though.

[happyturtle]

"Because the snail is really Reinholdt," Turtle says, expecting trouble from her henchpixie even as she says the words.

This is the first time Lex has seen Turtle since her arm was amputated. I am amused that that would seem less unusual to Lex than the snail.

[Me.]

After some more practicing, Ryu then begins to levitate some rocks too...

[Lex-Kat]

Lex glares at the unconscious Reinholdt. I can help you, Mistress. I know just how to help him. She opens the cell and goes inside, closing it behind her.

What happened to your arm?

[happyturtle]

"No, Lex. You can't hurt him. I won't let you." She ignores the question about the arm.

[Me.]

After another little while, Ryu begins to make a small tornado.((Hmmm..can anyone say, Element Theme?))
