She adjusts her thigh-highs in full view of the bar, each movement slow - deliberate. She speaks quietly with Lucky, who tells her about a guy who caused trouble at another bar in town, some guy named Helgraf. With a name like that, who's surprised? She spots the guy who stiffed her before and decides to have a word with him. She sits next to Kerfuffle Mach and grabs the top of his paper, tearing it from his hands. "You got a lotta nerve, ya know that?"

KerfuffleMach2 looks up at Celeste. So do you. Stealing papers like that. He reaches out and goes to take his paper back.

End of Day 4

It’s a hard work in the police, especially in the pathology department. Thank goodness I cut my feelings out of my life long time ago. When they buried Lizzy, to be exact.
Today was such a day. Even for my means it was a bad sight. No, not the Northside nor the Capone mobsters were responsible for this, it seems the poor guy was a victim of the people of the street. Not that there couldn’t have been someone from either side in there, too.
It was a man in a brown trenchcoat and a Fedora. He was literally beaten to death. Several bones broken, the trenchcoat was ripped apart. Quite expensive piece, I must say. Would have made a good price on the black market. At least I managed to save the Fedora. Just a little cleaning, some blood and brain stains washed out, than I’m sure I can get 10 Dollars minimum for it. Anyway, the poor guy wasn’t the only one. It seems as when the mob charged for this guy here they trampled two others to death. It’s a shame the people aren’t looking anymore where they set their feet. It’s all going down nowadays, I tell you. The guys were rather poor, I wouldn’t even try to sell their clothes, even if anything of it was in a proper condition. One of them wasn’t a stranger here, I tell you. Poor guy, one day he comes to the police to talk about the Northside gang, the other day he comes to the police to never talk again. Well, that’s live. But it was interesting, he had quite abnormous big kidneys. Yes, I really like my job.

Celeste playfully holds the paper behind her back with one hand, smiling faintly. "I'm not stealin' anything, cowboy. Just moving it out of the way so we can have a conversation." She tilts her head to the side and regards him. "You owe me some money, mister. Fifteen bucks, as I recall. And if you even pretend you don't know what I'm talkin' about, this could get REAL embarrassin' for ya." She leans forward and traces a gloved finger down his cheek. "I'd hate for that pretty little woman of yours to hear about how we..." She leans forward and whispers into his ear. Smirking, she pouts her lips a little and sits back. "So, we can come to some sort of arrangement, no? As I recall, I didn't HATE the time we spent together. But no matter how enjoyable, business is business. I'm sure you understand." Her smile is like saccharine, sickly sweet.

Night 4 Ends!

“They killed Dallas Dakota – I need you to go and firebomb their hideout.”

“Will I get paid for this?”

“Paid!? This is your job. You get kick backs every day to do stuff like this. Go and send a message, but be careful. Take one of the new troops with you.”

“Right boss.”

The Capone gangsters load up in their sedan, rigged especially for these night missions.

They drove over to the Northside territory, parking across the street from where Dallas Dakota was killed.

“So what are we using, dynamite?”



The more experienced enforcer opened up a wooden box that sat between them.

“Nope, grenades. These are from the Great War. We wait outside for one of the Northsiders to show up and when he walks in we chuck the grenades inside. They’ll remember that one, that’s for sure!”


“Hey, here comes car.”

“Ok, get down…”

And the two gangsters sank into their seats hiding in the darkness for their prey.

Another car did pull up across the street filled with their hated enemies –the Northsiders. They slowly sneaked out the passenger door...

“Ok, ready? Aim for under their car… throw!”

The two mobsters heaved the grenades that rolled under the rivals car, exploding in a fireball.

Only one gangster failed his reflex save though, taking the full damage.

Trixie was killed by the Capone Mobsters. Trixie was a Northside Gang Member (Wolf)

The Capone Gangsters hopped back in their car which immediately sped away.

The remaining Northside gangsters returned fire, two with pistols

and one with the Chicago Typewriter

The shooters unloaded, filling the fleeing car with bullets. The passenger was killed.

The Rogue Monk was killed by the Northside Mob. The Rogue Monk was a Capone Mobster (Wolf).

Unfortunately, the rounds went through the trunk of the car – killing an abductee as well… unless he was already dead in the trunk and they were getting ready to drop him off.
