GLoG 19: For those who can't make it over the rainbow

Drelin doesn't seem to care. He knew I could hear him. He knew, and now we're going to pay the price. I've doomed us all.

They reach the armory, where Drelin puts the sniper rifle back where he got it.

Ven draws his sword, and points it at Drelin's neck. I think you've outlived your usefulness Android. This ends. Now. His voice is cold, devoid of emotion.

Drelin isn't phased. Go on. Kill this harmless old man. No wonder I could play that part so well...

Ven slices his sword straight at Drelin's neck.

Suddenly, Drelin ducks under the slice.

And then he tries to grab the hilt of Ven's sword out of his hand(s) and knock it out of his grasp.

As Ven's sword flies out of his hand he mutters a spell, Blast Okai Don Level 26, Pyrocon! A blazing ball of fire appears through a portal, hurtling straight at Drelin. Ven prays that Drelin won't dodge this, and wonders why, that when evil people are in GLoG they lose power, then why is Drelin still so powerful?

Well, it mostly provides buffs for the Good rather than debuffs to the Evil. So Drelin is still his cyborgy self.

Drelin leaps out of the way of most of it, but is still a bit singed. He grabs a sniper rifle and fires at Ven.

Ven dodges the bullet by sliding to the left, and mutters yet another spell, Capture Level 72, Contiscolt Evincon! A full body chamber should cover Drelin now, unless he has absolutely NO flesh.

Drelin is covered.

Let me out of here, damn you! I'm going to kill Calublufiok, and you're not going to stop me!

He bashes ineffectually at the chamber.

Ven shakes his head, panting. He removes his new black trench coat, and takes out his ICY BLACK Katana. Not a chance. If I let you go to kill Calublufiok, you'll screw up the other plans. You can't beat Calublufiok alone, and we already have three or four people on the job. Just relax Drelin, and when DC comes back, we're going to kill you. He puts back on his trench coat, and relaxes slightly, sitting down, his katana facing stabbing the ground, but not piercing it. If Drelin punches the shield right now, it should crack a bit.

Drelin starts bashing at the shield.

The shield cracks, and Ven grips the sword. Flames start licking around his sword. Erk... Pyro Extranious Level 96, Pronicuto! Flames blast up around the shield. L-l-let's see ya get outta that! He is panting now, and sweat is dripping down his forehead.

Drelin starts bashing at the shield with the sniper rifle now.

I might just kill you because of how stupid you are...

Ven shudders, and the shield breaks, the flames die down, and he faints from exhaustion, high level spells take a lot out of you.

Drelin darts for the door. Unless someone stops him, he'll be escaping now.

As Ven is unconscious, Drelin will most likely not be stopped.

Greg undeadtimes and stares at the portal. Because of mean timezones and school the portal seems to be inoperable. He seems pretty angry, and is about to activate the forum's language filters when he sees Drelin run into the room. He attempts to put a telekinetic box around and above him.
((this is of course assuming that she runs through the great room. Otherwise, ignore most of this post.))
"hold on a second" says Greg, still annoyed that he couldn't get through the portal. ((not that he tried, just thought it looked broken))

Vorka, still somewhat tired, walks over to the door, in his armour, sword ready, and nods to Susan. Who are you? He asks the newcomer. And, to save time, performs an alignment scan.

((Had to leave the computer for a few minutes))

At the door is a man in light, vaguely futuristic armor (think stormtrooper, but gray) and a plain brown traveling cloak. His hands (the only exposed skin he has) are covered in scar tissue, some old, some recent. He's leaning on a short walking stick, the top of which is quite obviously the hilt of a sword hidden within. His face is concealed by a flat iron mask, with only two small rectangles for eye-holes, and a similar rectangle to speak (and breath) through.
"Go'day" he says flatly, voice muffled slightly by the mask, "Is this the... uh... League of Good?"

The man at first scans as strongly evil, though if Vorka holds the scan for a while longer, he'll detect the man as Chaotic Good. Meaning, he's Chaotic Good inside with a crunchy candy Evil outer coating.

Yes. It is. What are your intentions here, and why are you wearing an evil artifact? Vorka asks, headstrong. And stuff.

"I'd like to join and- wait? I'm not wearing an evil artifact."
He raises an eyebrow. Not that you'd see it. Mask.

((And deadtime for a short bit. >.< Be back in an hour and a half or so.))

The alignment scans I have just performed indicate, sir, that you are either wearing some kind of evil coating, or you have been cursed, or you have been immersed in evil. Before I can admit you to this establishment, I need to know the nature of such darkness. It would hardly be safe to admit you, otherwise. Vorka says, calmly, still blocking the way in.
