GLoG 20/XX: Twenty Times the Awesome

[Reinholdt]

Butler continues his cleaning.

"I don't know." At this time you notice she seems to be wearing a dog tag around her neck.

[KerfuffleMach2]

Wait...what is that? He points to the dog tag. From a distance, of course. So he doesn't knock her out with his finger. That might have a clue.

[Reinholdt]

She looks down. "I'm not sure." She pulls it out and looks at it. "Ireennee. Irene." She flips it over. "There's nothing else. It must be my name. Irene."

[KerfuffleMach2]

Well, nice to meet you, Irene. He smiles a little. So, how do you feel?

[Reinholdt]

She grimaces. "I've got an awful headache, ache all over, and I'm absolutely famished. Have anything to eat around here."

[KerfuffleMach2]

Runner nods a little. Yes. Follow me. I will take you to the kitchen. And he will do that.

[Reinholdt]

She tries to stand out of bed, wobbles a bit, then nearly collapses catching herself on the side of the bed. "I... I'm sorry." She pulls herself back into bed. "I must not be strong enough to walk yet." She looks apologetic and falls into thought, wondering what happened to her.

It is ok, no need to apologize. Is there anything in particular you would like?

[Reinholdt]

"Umm... I could go for a tuna sandwich right now. Thanks." She blushes a bit, embarrassed she can't do it herself.

Runner nods, and heads out. He comes back a little later with the sandwich. And a bottle of water. Which he hands to her.

[Reinholdt]

"Thank you." She licks her lips in a predatory manner and tears into the sandwich ravenously. She was famished after all. In a matter of seconds it's gone. "Mmmm... that was good." She lays her head back, tired. "I think I'll just..." she yawns. "Take a nap now."

Ok then. I'll be here if you need anything. And Runner stays in the room. And deadtimes.

Sam is in the main room, reading.

Ulric is in the armory, picking out weapons.

[The Bushranger]

Dani wanders out and heads in Sam's direction, aiming to peek over her shoulder and see what she's reading.

[Reinholdt]

Butler is cleaning up the last of the color goop.

Irene is resting in the infirmary.

[Morty]

Wenomir is patrolling the base. He's rather puzzled upon seeing the colors.
What the hell has happened here?

[Reinholdt]

Butler looks up. "I have no idea sir." He's covered in it himself. "It just seemed to fly out of nowhere and cover everywhere sir. I'm not sure where it came from sir."

[Kaelaroth]

Well done, Butler. Vorka says, coming in from outside, slightly out-of-breath in his armour, to see the cleaned up room. You did brilliantly.

[Morty]

At least it didn't kill anyone... well done, um, Butler. Wenomir isn't really comfortable with having a butler.

[Reinholdt]

"Oh, thank you sirs." Butler beams. "But it really wasn't that smart sir. Just doing my job sir."

"You're the best butler I ever met," Decker says as she enters, hopping on one foot in a zig-zag path.

[Kaelaroth]

And yet you should still be congratulated for it. Not even at my monastery was I quite so practical. Vorka smiles at Butler. Do any of you want anything to eat? I am going to make myself a sandwich.

[Morty]

Thanks, I've just eaten. Wenomir ponders for a while. You know, no offense, but back where I'm from, duke's butler wore a black suit. He then smells Decker and frowns.

[Reinholdt]

Butler smiles wide. "Hi Decker ma'am."

Vorka must have missed where Butler got all confused on which definition of brilliantly he was replying to. Oh well. "I'd be happy to make you something to eat sir. What would you like sir?"

He nods at Wenomir. "That's probably because that butler didn't perform any other duties sir. We have to do things beyond chores sir, to appease the masters sir. That and clothes are icky sir."

[Morty]

If you say so. Wenomir decides it's not a good idea to inquire about the "other duties".

[Kaelaroth]

Vorka shakes his head, slightly, and moves to the kitchen, blushing, slightly, making himself a large bacon salad butty, trying not to think about what Butler meant when he talked of appeasing masters.

[Reinholdt]

Butler frowns. What's the point of being the butler if he can't make the meals? Oh well. At least they let him clean up.

He looks back at Wenomir. "Where are you from sir?"

Butler would hug Decker, but she seems busy and he's covered in color. Needs to go wash that off now that he's cleaned the base.

[Kaelaroth]

Prettyboy Vorka, who's blushing (aaah) slips into deadtime, as he self-consciously eats his butty.

[Morty]

A backwater village far away from here.

[Reinholdt]

"Oh, you lived near the ocean sir? That's absolutely lovely sir. We should visit one day sir. We could go swimming and look for seashells sir." Butler looks excited. It's been a while since he's been to the beach.

Irene starts to wake up in the infirmary.
