Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XIX: To FAIL, or not to FAIL?
I think that’s the right Roman Numeral, correct me if I’m wrong.
Welcome to the 19th ABR Discussion Thread!
Because we used to burn through new ABR threads so quickly, we created the Discussion thread. All banter goes here, and all comics and non-canon kills go in the main thread. (see line below)
Avatar Battle Royale: We All Live in A Yellow Citadel is the current thread. Post artwork here.
The ABR backup thread, used in the event of Giantitp becoming untenable due to server issues or otherwise.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIX
I said that we can use another name, but not a silly acronym.
"The Faild" is even better then "FAIL". It doesn't sound official that way.
It actually sounds like a nick name sort of thing.
"The Terrorists"
"Igons army"
"The Fallen"
"The Evil Ones"
I dunno.
Use FAIL: 3
Not use Fail: 4Last edited by Nameless; 2009-03-07 at 05:51 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIX: To FAIL, or not to FAIL?
The last thread had an unusually long life span. Also this fail/alf argument is stupid and/or annoying.
I like the thread's name though.Last edited by Tiffanie Lirle; 2009-03-07 at 06:32 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIX
Then I advise you recount carefully, and stay in school.
{table=head]For including FAIL|Against including FAIL|Abstain
BRC|Lemming|Falgorn
Keveak|CrimsonAngel
The Gremlin|Tired N' Drowzy
chriky|Fayte
The Randomizer|Threeshades
VampireRot|Lyinginbedmon
|Szilard[/table]
And memnarch has decided to vote for whoever's the current underdog, just to make things annoying.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIX: To FAIL, or not to FAIL?
Why is there a vote for using FAIL ? I thought we all agreed to make it the name of a fictional organisation closely modelled on the resistance in some kind of telescreen series.
EDIT: You got the Roman number wrong, it's XIX, not XVIX.Last edited by Mad Mask; 2009-03-07 at 08:19 AM.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIX: To FAIL, or not to FAIL?
We're not getting rid of ALF, that's still the name of the Resistance.
We're voting on whether to include someone's idea of having a fictional counterpart to ALF, called FAIL.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIX: To FAIL, or not to FAIL?
What an absolutely dismal day here, it's sunny, there's a bird singing outside my window and there's just the slightest breeze.. I was hoping it would rain, rainy days are so relaxing.
*Looks out of the window*
Get the hell away you stupid bird!
*throws book at window*
SpoilerSome generic peace keeper outfits I've been messing with. Stole the coats from Skimmer.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIX: To FAIL, or not to FAIL?
I thought the vote was about whether people in real life called ALF FAIL because of a TV show (doesn't sound likely), not whether the show had a joke name. You could call the one in the show IKLEBOOGYCKINS and it wouldn't really matter.
@Tiff: Rain would really suck up here. The snowbanks are nearly a meter and a half high, and last time it rained everything turned to ice.

Part 2 of FFF (FI) certainly seems to be kinda FAIL...

... Yeah, I've kinda been regretting suggesting FI in the first place... All it has done is made us go through discussion threads faster and slow down the plot...

Out of curiosity, why does your Rorschach avatar has a green arm? Granted, I've only read 1/3 of the book so far, so if it's a spoiler don't tell me.

Re: Avatar Battle Royale Discussion Thread XVIX: To FAIL, or not to FAIL?
No offence, but that's quite a stupid idea. I know ABR has changed a lot since the first ever thread but chosing who makes every single comic is just getting silly.
Also, I'm fed up with people saying the plots going too slow or someone should make a comic because if your that fussed about it why don't you just make one yourself.
