[ACRO] GLoG 28: The People's Republic of Magtok

[ThePhantom]

"Thank you. And about that other thing, I think I can do something about that problem."
Marley heads to the laundry room.

[Reinholdt]

Really? Huh. *shrugs*

Butler is there doing laundry. He smiles at Marley. That's the guy he voted for in the voting thing! Yay Marley! "Hello sir. How are you today sir? Can I do anything for you sir?"

[Morty]

((Oh, sorry. It's late and I missed that.))
Wenomir screams as Serenity's sword hits his shoulder and the sound of cracking bone can be heard. His eyes glowing, he aims a punch at Serenity's face with his other hand - and as the fist speeds towards her, it begins to glow with red light, the strike becoming incredibly fast and strong against anything of demonic origin.

[ThePhantom]

"Well, I need some help researching a little something. By the way, the drone says that you and them aren't getting along. Any reason why?"

[billtodamax]

Look! Security drones! They prepare to open fire on Serenity.
Statement: Please cease fighting
Addition: Injury may occur

I'm gone.))

[Reinholdt]

"Researching something sir?"
"You found something and lost it and need to find it again sir?"

Butler hmphs a little at the drone comment. "I've never gotten along with the drones sir. They keep trying to steal my job sir." Opening the door... cleaning... etc.

[AmberVael]

Serenity goes to dodge, but Wenomir's blow comes out far faster and stronger than she was expecting, and manages to clip her.
And by 'clip' I mean hits her on the right cheek instead of on the nose. She staggers back a bit, and now white, swirling substances like a strange, liquid mist can be seen curling over her form.
"I see you are a more worthy adversary than I am used to dealing with."
Her jaw cracks unpleasantly as she snaps it into place, readying herself again.

[Jackalajack]

George decides if they won't stop fighting, he'll have to make them stop fighting...but how? Aha! "Gosh, Mr. Sir person, I just realized something! This lady is my sister and we've been separated for many many years and she came to see me! I would really super like it if you would stop trying to hurt my sister please! We have so many much things to catch up on!"

[Morty]

I'm honored, Wenomir spits out, trying to manuever his sword with a seriously injured arm and not doing very well. He's not really paying attention to George right now.

[ThePhantom]

"Well there is one thing that the drones do that you don't do. They can fight, and you don't. And you do have something that the drones don't have. You are a lot less likely to be controled by a villian, and you can leave GLoG, the drones can't."
Marley smiles.
"And no, Butler, research don't mean that. It means finding out about something."

[Reinholdt]

"Oh, I see sir. I'll do what I can sir, but I'm not too good at finding things out sir. What do you need to find out sir?"

[AmberVael]

"But you are still not worthy enough to see me unsheathe my sword. Stand aside and I will not harm you further."
Says Glorious Serenity, gesturing for him to move aside with her sword.

[ThePhantom]

"Well, the first thing is where we could find enough books in order to find one that has anything about what I want to know about. You know anyplace like that?"

[Jackalajack]

George's blatant lie to stop the fighting falls on deaf ears.

[Morty]

Wenomir swears. Oh, so I see you follow the code of honor of bullying your way though everything. He spits.

[AmberVael]

"If that is the way you wish to view it, yes, it is. Do you want me to bully you further?"
Asks Glorious Serenity.
"Because I can most certainly oblige."

[Reinholdt]

"Books sir? Why we have a library right here in GLoG sir! Didn't you know sir?" If not, then Butler has failed as a tour guide. Poor Butler.

[Morty]

Wenomir gnashes his teeth and frowns. So you're ready to take on our entire base, then?

[ThePhantom]

"Okay then. Then you and I will go through those books. Come Butler."
Marley heads to the library.

[AmberVael]

"It would be a most intriguing challenge, I admit."
Says Glorious Serenity with a devilish grin.

[Reinholdt]

"As... as in... read them sir?" But books had big words and most all the books in the library didn't have pictures and stuff. It was hard to read books!

Butler follows anyways of course.

[ThePhantom]

"Don't worry, Butler. I know you have a hard time with big words, so you'll mostly doing the legwork. I'll do the reading."
Marley takes a seat.
"Okay. So, do you know how the library is organized?"

[Jackalajack]

"Could you stop? Seriously it would be all kinds of bad for any of you to get hurt any farther or maybe even worse, die!" frowns George, looking a little dishearted now.

[Morty]

Then so be it. Drones! Wenomir points at Glorious Serenity. This person is now a threat and is to be shot on sight!

[Jackalajack]

"Please no, kind drones! That would be oh so ever bad!" George says, exasperated. "Can we not talk this oh or something super good like that? Maybe over some super yummy tea?"

[Reinholdt]

Pfft. As if that drone thing worked. Didn't work on Magtok.

"Ummm... not really sir." Stupid dewey decibel system. Butler looks down and shuffles his feet a bit.

[Kaelaroth]

As George failed to command, and merely requested, Wenomir's commands are obeyed. Two level I security drones, nearby, fire their blasters at Glorious Serenity, while two more start to float towards her, their warsporks out at the ready!

[AmberVael]

"That seems somewhat unsporting."
Says Glorious Serenity, eyeing the drones. If they immediately start shooting at her, she'll probably start running away like hell.
Edit: And they do, so she flees, darting out of the way.
"This isn't the end!"

[Jackalajack]

Suddenly George deadtimes. Oh well. It's not like he was being paid attention to anymore.

[Kaelaroth]

Two more shots are fired at her retreating form, while the warspork-wielders move back to protect Wenomir, should she do something creepeh.
