[ACRO] GLoG 29: Under New Management

[Reinholdt]

Butler has resumed cleaning and catching up. Though is still looking for Vidalia and carrying that book around. Oh hey! A SPGT to another lab. One that has a sticky note that Butler conveniently fails his spot check to see.

He looks at Book-Butler. "You think Vidalia may be in there sir?"

Irene undeadtimes in her room with Crimson.

Reinholdt undeadtimes and prepares to go Outside to start setting up a place for Apoca-con.

Crimson gives a tiny yawn as Irene wakes up.

[Kaelaroth]

The book, unfurling like a welcoming flower, illustrates a dancing Butler, who, as he arabesques and pirouettes, shakes his head to the negative in reply.

[Reinholdt]

"You don't think so sir?"
Well he trusts the book. It's probably right. Oh well. No MagCave for Butler. He backs away and keeps it up elsewhere.

"Hey Scarlet. Good morning."

[Kaelaroth]

Anyhoo. The Book-Butler's totally dancing about now, slightly more ambitious in his moves, but not out-of-the-ordinary, waiting to see if the real Butler wants anything of him.

[AmberVael]

"Good morning."
Says Crimson quietly, rubbing her eyes.

[Reinholdt]

Just conversation.
"Sir. Why do you think Vidalia doesn't love me anymore sir? Did I do something wrong sir?"

Irene gives a big stretch herself before patting Crimson on the shoulder. "Up and at em. We've got a big day ahead of us."

[AmberVael]

"We do?"
Crimson looks up, somewhat confused.

[Kaelaroth]

The book pauses.
Ooh, a toughie.

Different pictures swarm into view. Corentin bodybuilding. Corentin playing chess, with comically large glasses on. Corentin and Vidalia looking very happy in sexual congress. Corentin teaching Vidalia the joys of marriage. Butler kissing Decker, while an onion sits nearby. Alone.

[Reinholdt]

"I didn't mean to leave her alone sir. I thought I spent lots of time with her sir."
It hurts to think he may have neglected Vidalia.

"Well yeah. We're going to head back today and get started on that thing, right?" Irene hops out of bed to go grab some new clothes to put on after she showers and stuff.

[Kaelaroth]

The book-Butler looks unhappy too! He didn't mean to upset other Butler!

[AmberVael]

"Oh. Okay."
Obviously Crimson wasn't aware that this was the plan, but she doesn't seem to have a problem with it.

[Reinholdt]

"I'm sorry sir. Please don't be upset sir. It's my fault sir. And if what you say is true, then Corentin is better than I sir." He gives the book a hug to comfort the book.

He is odd.

"Goodie. Sorry, I would've brought it up yesterday, but I got lost in my chocolate. I'm going to take a shower and get dressed. Best start getting ready."

Crimson smiles and nods and hops off to her room to get ready.

[Kaelaroth]

Book, when released from hug, looks defiant, book-Butler sure that real-Butler's nicer than Corentin.

[Reinholdt]

"I'm sorry sir. Do hugs make you mad sir?" Book-Butler looks mad at something! He didn't mean to make it mad.

Irene smiles after her and gets to work getting ready. Taking a shower, dressing, possible unnecessary application of make-up, eating, grabbing stuff to take with including some books for learning to read, grabbing any of the people who came with before to come with again if they are still able and willing.

At the end of it all, she'll be waiting for Crimson in the Great Room.

Crimson is waiting in the great room, sitting on one of the couches.

[Kaelaroth]

Book-Butler shakes his head, and smiles. And then, very carefully, spells out some basic words. "YOU ARE NICE. HUGS ARE NICE. I LIKE YOU AND HUGS."

[Reinholdt]

Butler smiles at the book and gives it another hug. "I like you too sir."

"Hey Scarlet. All ready to go? Or is there something you needed to do first?"

[AmberVael]

"We can go."
Says Crimson with a smile, looking up at Irene.

[The Bushranger]

Dani is snoozing in Sam's room, presumably with Sam.

Shrike is snoozing in the detention block

Quinn is...
...unconsious in the Infirmary.


BR will be back in a bit to wake at least one of them up.

[Kaelaroth]

Pleased book is pleased; and is waiting to offer him spells, if needs be.

[Reinholdt]

"What do you think I should do sir? Anything sir?"

Irene makes sure to wake up Quinn so she can come with. Hmm... wonder how she does that? Her secret.
Hint: A lot of shaking may be involved.

She then returns continuity slightly with the Irene in the Great Room. "Alright. No more waiting then!" Irene reaches out her hand to take Crimson and head Outside with the others so they can head off again.

Hopefully allowing for the retcon following of Quinn, Corentin, and Phoenix if they wish.

Crimson takes Irene's hand and heads off with her.

Tobias wakes up in his cell and takes a look around.

[Kaelaroth]

Oh, the book has lots of suggestions, in pictoral format! Butler with big muscles, Butler dancing in a Michael Jackson video, Butler eating a really tasty looking peach, Butler running through fire to save a little girl's life, Butler drinking a glass of wine, Butler lying in a bath of gold, Butler sitting on a pile of catnip...
... the possibilities are endless!

[Reinholdt]

"Heh. You're silly sir. I do like catnip though sir. But is a little girl in danger sir? Where sir?"

Out they go.

The book merely provides two easy-read incantations.

Butler quickly reads both. If someone is in danger he has to help them.

Reinholdt leaves a note so people know where is (they probably could see him from the entrance of GLoG anyways) before heading Outside with some drones to start setting up the Apoca-Con.

Wenomir undeadtimes and goes to the detention block. His right arm is still plastered.
Looks like they've put in another prisoner when I was away, he remarks upon seeing Tobias.
